Knit crochet socks

I still remember the warmth of my grandmother's socks. She spun yarn of natural wool, made threads out of her, and then knitted with the knitting needles the warmest socks in the world. The whole family was carrying them. What can warm your feet so, not socks connected with love. Today, the time is completely different, if we put on knitted socks, then only in the very worst frosts. And who is knitting them now, except that they are all the same grandmothers and lovers of needlework. I do not think that any fashionable woman will want to wear such a long-standing trend. And only the one with legs reacting even to a slight cooling, if not, will buy a pair of warm knitted socks in the store.

Older people remember how difficult it was to buy warm leather shoes. As a rule, it was replaced by felt boots and socks, knitted from sheep's wool. The village women pre-spun yarn beforehand, so that later, when the first winter colds come, knit the socks out of the thread. Of course, they did not differ in convenience: hair was constantly pricked. But people were accustomed to everything, and the cold (and winters then were more severe than ours) were not allowed to relax. The most important material for knitting was the needles, but knitting crochet socks was less common. The technique itself was not very difficult, and someone who successfully owned it, knit very quickly. I remember how the knitting needles worked in my grandmother's hands, which could tie a pair of socks overnight. So it was not difficult for her to impose such warm clothes on all close relatives. Looking at all her masterpieces, I also really wanted to learn how to knit, but I did not go beyond one small sock.

After a while I got hooked on crochet, and realized that knitting needles was not for me. Then I did not yet know that knitting crochet socks can bear fruit. I somehow liked to knit napkins. In general, the crochet technique is very interesting and uncomplicated. It turns out that with the help of one hook you can do something that will later shock everyone around you. Over time, my occupation was abandoned, and only after years of interest broke out again, just a son appeared for the world, for which he very much wanted to tie warm socks. I thought I'd learn how to knit with knitting needles and make my baby happy. But instead of learning to knit, I stumbled on the Internet to knit crochet socks, and, frankly, was surprised. I never thought before that a crochet could be connected with such a warm and cozy thing. In general, I did it, and I tied the first socks in my life. True, they were not a son, but for themselves (the pattern of knitting was on an adult's leg).

I want to share that scheme, which I named as "crochet socks for beginners". There is nothing complicated, but such beauty is obtained!

We need: approximately 120 grams, hook N3.

All work will consist of the following loops: an air loop, a column without a crochet and a connecting post.

Progress:

1. Hook the 9 air loops and connect them in a chain.

2. We tie a chain from two sides with columns without crochets: 9 loops on each side, total - 18 loops.

3. The second row is knitted like this: 1 st. Lifting, 2 columns without a crochet from 1 loop, 8 st.b., 2 stakes without a crochet from 1 pipi., 8 st.b.n., s.ed. A total of 20 loops.

4. The third row: 1 st lift, 2 columns without a crochet from 1p., 9 st.b.n., 2 st.b.n. From the 1 st., 9 st.b.n., sout.st. = 22 loops.

5. The fourth row: 1 st lift, 2 columns without a crochet from 1p., 10 st.b.n., 2 st.b.n. From the 1 st., 10 st.b.n., s.ed.st. A total of 24 loops.

6. So we add another 9 rows, until we get 42 loops.

7. Starting from the 14th row, we knit simply with columns without a crochet. Here we do not add anything.

8. When the mating is about 18 cm high, knitting is divided into two parts.

9. We knit a heel: the first row - 21 stitches without a crochet; 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 and 15 - at the beginning and at the end of each row we are tying along a column without a crochet, which we close together; 3-row - 19 posts without a crochet; 5 series - 17 tbsp; 7th row - 15 tbsp; 9th row - 13 tbsp; 11 rows - 11 tbsp; 13-row - 9 st.b.

10. To make the bootleg, we continue knitting the loops of the toe, and also tie the heel (54 loops). We send 10 rows, and from 11 uniformly start to decrease in each 5 row 2 times 6 loops (42 loops should remain), and then 23 cm.

11. After we finish knitting the socks with a hook, bend the top of the boot and sew.

12. Moisturize the finished product, and wait until it dries.
