Kista of the kidney: what to do?

Unfortunately, many people in the modern world suffer from kidney diseases. One of the most common is the kidney cyst. It is a kind of education, delimited from the body itself and filled with fluid. The reasons for its occurrence can be many.

Allocate different types of cyst: formed in the womb of the mother, formed at a genetic level or in connection with certain deviations in the activity of the body. The greatest danger is the formation that arose as a consequence of the development of cancer of the kidneys. The parenchymal cyst of the kidney may be caused by a violation of the activity of the parenchymal organs, or it may be congenital. With a congenital, there is a possibility that after a while it will disappear.

In fact, the cyst is an enlarged epithelium on the kidney. Reaching a few millimeters, it is completely separated from the renal tubules, which were previously associated with. Most often, the kidney cyst is formed in older people. For example, in 30% of people over 50 years of age there is an appearance of neoplasms in the kidneys. The probability of finding an acquired cyst is higher in the male half of the population, and especially at the age of 30 to 40 years.

The kidney cyst can develop completely asymptomatic, and then it can be extremely difficult to detect it. Symptoms of active growth of tumors include impaired urination, a sensation of pain in the kidneys, in some cases there is a sharp exacerbation of the already existing disease of this organ - pyelonephritis. There is a threat of getting blood into a tumor or developing an infection. Fortunately, such situations are extremely rare: no more than 10% of all cases. The main danger that can lead to a kidney cyst, is the development of kidney failure. But this does not happen very often.

The usual cyst is characterized by a small size of overgrowth, so it is by chance that its presence is rarely detected. An elementary tool used to diagnose most diseases of internal organs is ultrasound. But in order to obtain an accurate result and identify the causes, it is necessary to conduct a computer tomography, which determines the size of the cyst. And also the presence of infections and the degree of risk to human health.

After a full diagnosis, the specialist determines the specific method of cyst treatment. Currently, there are 2 methods of destroying the neoplasm: with the help of medications or surgically. As a rule, if the cyst is not overgrown, then try to remove it with the help of medicines. But at the moment there are no specific drugs for the destruction of such a neoplasm, so all prescribed medications act to eliminate pain symptoms or treat pathologies.

If after a course of therapy with drugs the cyst of the kidney does not decrease in size, the sensation of pain and impaired renal activity persists, then the doctor has to resort to the help of a surgeon. But if a sinus cyst of the kidney is found, immediate surgical removal is necessary, as it can very quickly expand and capture the entire organ, and then move to the second one. Therefore, joking with such things should not be expected and with the operation is very dangerous for human life. If a cyst produces metastases, it can greatly affect the well-being of a man or woman in the future.

In cases where the neoplasm exists, but it does not disturb the patient in any way, that is, it is completely asymptomatic, and a decision is made on non-interference. But during the observation period the patient undergoes a rigorous examination every six months. If violations are detected, immediate intervention occurs.
