John Bernthal: Biography and Career

A pretty famous and successful American actor is John Berntal. Spectators can recognize him in the roles of the punisher Frank Castle in the television series "Daredevil" and Shane Walsh in the sensational series "Walking Dead".

Jonathan Eduard Bernthal was born on September 20, 1976 in the American city of Washington, DC. He grew up in a Jewish family Joan Lurie (nee Marks) and lawyer Erik Lawrence "Rick" Berntal, who works in one of the most prestigious law firms in the world.

His paternal grandfather, Murray Berntal, was a producer and musician. The grandfather on the part of the mother was a German, and the rest of the ancestors of the family were emigrants from Lithuania, Poland, Russia and Austria. In the family John Berntal was not the only child, he has two brothers - Thomas and Nicholas.

He studied at the Washington School Sidwell. After graduation, he was educated at Skidmore College in New York State.

Later he came to Moscow, where he studied at the famous Moscow Art Theater School. During his studies at the Moscow Art Theater, John professionally engaged in baseball in the European federation.
