Jimmy Strimell: Biography and Creativity

Jimmy Strimell today is one of the most popular and well-known extreme vocalists in the world. However, his way to the top was incredibly long and thorny, and he met as good enough and nice people, and those with whom it would be better not to see each other. Most of all, Jimmy Strimell became famous for his participation in the famous Alt-Rock band Dead by April and scandalous departure from it. However, this is only part of his career, and the ascent to the pedestal began long before that.

Youth

Born December 3, 1980 in Sweden in the big city of Gothenburg, Jimmy Strimell, strangely enough, was not fond of vocals or music since childhood. However, many years later he mastered the skill of singing and joined his first band at the age of 23, and the team was Death Destruction. In the same year, the magazine published an article in which he first interviewed Jimmy Strimell. Photos from the pages of this edition managed to fly around the then-community of fans of rock.

Death Destruction

To this group the vocalist joined together with the guitarist-founder Enrique Danhage and the young drummer Jonas Ekdale. In the same year, when the chief vocalist came to them, they released their first demo record. Subsequently, only after more than 7 years they managed to record their debut album, which all fans were delighted with. By that time, Jimmy Strimell was no longer with the band. Nightrage and Dead by April

The vocalist himself a year later (in 2005) was part of the death metal band Nightrage, replacing at first only the frontman, but in the future he became a full member of it. Literally a year later, on August 13, 2014, in a social network Liam announced his departure, backing it up with words that working with a musician is a real hell because of the terrible and intolerable nature that Jimmy Strimell possesses. Personal life of our hero from this incident did not suffer, and to this day, they are still quite good friends with Liam. But right after he left his last band, the musician announced that his career would end there, and from now on he would give all his free time to his close ones. Taking a pause in the work, our hero worked as a teacher of extreme vocals at the music school of Gothenburg. Later, he resumed his concert activity.
