It became sad to live with me - the pains in the back

Statistics say that 80 percent of people experience back pain from time to time. Just show me 20 percent of those lucky ones who passed this cup! Unless the unknown accountants took into account only those who have painful feelings periodically - then you can still agree. But I will not believe in life that there is one person on the Earth who has never kicked, swallowed, pulled, shot, or "stepped" into the back.

Why is this part of the body so vulnerable? Predisposition to injuries and pain is caused by the very structure of the spine and its functions. It's no joke - 33 vertebrae are divided by flexible cartilages (intervertebral discs), entangle and permeate innumerable ligaments, nerves, muscles. In such a complex system, sooner or later, inevitably, sooner or later, under certain conditions, something will get hurt, overtax, inflame, shift or tear, what precautions should not be taken. Sometimes back pain is associated with severe diseases or spinal injuries, but in the statistical majority of cases they are not the result of serious violations, they are easily removed or pass themselves. But even such manifestations bring considerable discomfort, and if they become frequent, then they do turn life into torture.

Various diseases, such as osteochondrosis, radiculitis, Bechterew's disease, spondylolisthesis and others deserve a separate, objective description, now we'll just talk about a common phenomenon under the common name - back pain. The reasons for them can be different, right up to the opposite. So, they can cause both a passive, sedentary lifestyle, leading to a weakening of the muscles, and excessive activity, overstraining muscles, ligaments and tendons. Excess weight has a detrimental effect on the lower back, and lifting weights - on any of its area, not withstanding excessive load. Incorrect posture, uncomfortable posture and even an uneven mattress lead to muscle fatigue. It often happens that the back hurts in pregnant women - this is due to the additional burden created by the weight of the fetus. And even stress can sometimes cause muscle tension all with the same unpleasant consequences.

The reason for calling a doctor back pain can be if they occur regularly and do not go for several days, accompanied by fever, nausea, diarrhea. Immediately should go to the reception if the pain gives in the hands and feet, and the lower limbs become numb. You may need the services of a manual therapist, an osteopath or a physiotherapist, or you will be referred to a rheumatologist, orthopedist or neurologist. It all depends on what will be revealed during a thorough examination.

Independently, in order to bring down the pain, you can take ibuprofen or paracetamol, warm your back in a hot bath or with the help of a compress. The main thing is to reduce physical activity and provide yourself with a comfortable position.

In order not to suffer back pain, you need to follow the posture - it reduces the burden on the spine. The office chair should be adjusted so that the knees are approximately level with the hips, and the back has a support. Monitor the computer at arm's length from the eyes, and when using the keyboard, keep your hand on it straight. Watch your own weight and strengthen your back muscles with simple, but regular physical exercises. Do not lift unnecessarily gravity, and if you have to do this, be sure to bend your knees, keep your back straight, and lifted or carried object - as close to the body. Avoid simultaneously tilting and turning the body, try to bend less often, and if necessary, get something from the top shelf of the cabinet, do not be too lazy to bring a chair.

In general, take care of your back and take care of her until she reminded herself!
