Is it worth using pigment ink?

Our conversation today will be devoted to the ink for the printer. As you know, even the most "fancy" and expensive printer will not be able to provide the highest quality print, if it does not use good ink.

The result of printing can be affected by any of the following factors: high humidity, a drop of water, a paper of inappropriate quality, a large number of parts with which conventional ink is unable to cope. In this case, the image becomes inaccurate and blurred.

Therefore, if you want to achieve a clear drawing that will be resistant to all external influences, as well as high quality prints, then use pigment inks. Only in this way you can achieve the desired result, which consists in excellent printing.

Of course, the best ink is pigmented. They are able to leave a thin and sharp imprint on the paper. This is due to their unique composition. Pigment ink has a number of useful properties: they are resistant to water, so they do not dissolve in it, they contain special microscopic particles of a certain coloring pigment, due to which they have perfect adhesion to the paper.

All this makes the print saturated, clear and contrast, and also does not allow the image to blur. Printed objects will be resistant to aggressive external influences. Therefore, pigment ink is suitable for work in any inkjet printing devices, as well as ensure their reliable and stable operation.

As for the necessity of their application, it is enough to recall the situation when several drops of water fall on some important document. This immediately eliminates the need to conduct a long discussion on this topic, and the answer will be clear: pigment ink should be used.

But you should also clearly understand that the pigment has a more faded shade in comparison with those ink that are used specifically for printing photographs. Therefore, if you are interested in such a printing, you will need to use a different type of this consumable here.

The paradox is that first people pick up a device that could provide them with excellent printing, and then simply do not want to buy more expensive supplies to maintain the desired level. So do not forget that high quality should be not only the printer, but also the ink that you fill it with.

As for the manufacturers, the following companies produce good pigment ink: Epson, Canon, HP. It is better to buy them, based on the model of your printer. Each manufacturer, as a rule, produces the appropriate consumables for this or that model. In an extreme case, if such a product is not manufactured by the manufacturer, the technical documents for the corresponding product have the necessary recommendations for choosing the right ink. Finally, it must be said that it is strictly forbidden to mix pigment ink with any others.
