Irina Chaschina: biography, photo, personal life

In the Russian sport there are a lot of sportsmen-legends, one of them is the magnificent gymnast Irina Viktorovna Chashchina. For our country, she won many awards and, even though she was known as "the princess Nesmeyana," was really a sparkling star of rhythmic gymnastics. However, Irina remains a bright person today.

What was the childhood of Chaschina

The city where in 1982, the birth of Irina Chaschina, became Omsk - a very large Siberian metropolis. The girl's mother was in love with music. Being a teacher of a music school and earning an accompanist, Tatyana Vasilievna wanted to instill in her daughter the same love for her work. But Ira also had a favorite grandfather and grandmother. Grandfather preferred sports, supported by him and Tamara Valentinovna. Taking into account the nature of Irochka, a rather energetic child, and the preferences of her mother, the family council decided: the girl will be engaged in swimming, music and gymnastics.

Despite the fact that Ira was muscular and well-fed than was supposed for rhythmic gymnastics, she refused to engage in her sporting direction. Grandfather at 6 years took her to the first training, and then the granddaughter accompanied her granddaughter, who was the most devoted fan of the future gymnast named Irina Chashchina. The photos mostly show the sportswoman with a smile, but her focus on the classes was so strong that during the speeches Ira smiled extremely rarely, for which she was nicknamed "Nesmeyanoy."

Elena Arajs became the first coach of Chashchina. She greatly contributed to the development in the child of the pursuit of excellence, perseverance in achieving the goal and tirelessness in training. Without them, with the physical data of the girl in rhythmic gymnastics, she had nothing to do. At the age of eight, Ira won the first victory in competitions in the Omsk region. And in two more years she was started by Vera Stelbaums - Honored coach of our country.

Although Irina's life consisted of many activities: music - gymnastics - swimming - school, she managed to play with the guys in the yard. In the interview, she always says that she had a childhood. And he remembers it with kindness and tenderness.

Chashchina in the Russian team

Vera Efremovna, who trains her pupil with full dedication, as Irina Chashchina herself admits, became her second mother. At the age of 12 the sportswoman got into the youth team of Russia to represent our country at the world competitions in the discipline "rhythmic gymnastics". She was subjected to the Games of the Union of Independent States and women's championships in Russia. At the age of 14, the training sessions became so intense that they had to abandon their combination with swimming. Irada finished her music school.

1999 was a new milestone in what Irina Chaschina was doing. The personal life of the seventeen-year gymnastics was completely subordinated to the favorite sport. And not in vain. Inclusion in the activities of the Center for Olympic Training, the mentoring of Irina Wiener led to the emergence of Chaschina on the world arenas. In 1999, with her inherent stubbornness and willpower, she went to her first personal gold medals, won in 2001 at the World and European Championships. In the team Irina Chashchina became the world champion in the first year of training with Wiener. Since then she has won many command and personal silver and bronze medals at various championships, won world cups and won in international tournaments, became the absolute champion of the country.

Achievements in big sport

Undoubtedly, it is clear to imagine the beauty of the fact that for many years Irina Chaschina chose the way of life, photos can best. But the importance of the work done by the "artist" can be realized only after seeing a list of all her achievements.

When Yulia Barsukova left the world sports arena in 2000, Irina managed to make her second place in the world ranking after A. Kabaeva. In 2001 she was subjected to the Spanish World Cup, the 4th World Games held in Japan, the World Tournament in Bulgaria and the Australian Goodwill Games. These were absolute championships and gold medals. Unfortunately, Chashchina was deprived of these awards in connection with the doping scandal. But the gold of the European Championship was preserved for her, the championship in international tournaments in France and San Francisco, won in the same 2001.

Disqualification did not break the athlete, and in 2002 she won first place in all-around and exercises with rope, hoop and maces at the Grand Prix in the Netherlands (Deventer) and Berlin.

Silver at the 2004 Olympics in Athens could be a bright final stage in the sports career of a gymnast, but she decided to stay. Unfortunately, the World Cup in Baku for the following year brought her only a bronze medal, after which Chaschina still preferred to follow the path of "folding" from the sports track. At 25 years before her, the problem arose of choosing a further life scenario.

Life after sport

When the sports career came to an end, the former sportswoman did not remain without attention - she received a lot of tempting offers. But Chaschina was not ready for them yet. Firmly convinced that life does not end, and we need to set new goals, she, nevertheless, has not yet seen her goals.

Trying to start something entirely her own, Irina started preparing a new fitness program (presented in 2007 under the title "Flexible Force").

In general, realizing that life is not directly associated with sports, Irina has taken the opportunity given by fate, and since 2008 took a significant position in the prefecture of the Northern District of the capital for tourism and sport. This activity spodvigla girl to enter the Academy of Public Service, where she suffered many nuances bureaucratic service. In the chair of the deputy prefect Chashchina sat until 2010, she left there at her own request.

As Irina Chashchina dreamed of when she was 17, the children were to become the main visitors to the gymnastic center she had created. To realize the dream at once it was not possible, but the former gymnast from it did not recede. In 2013, Barnaul in the regional children's and youth sports school opened its own branch Chaschina in rhythmic gymnastics. And since 2012 for this sport there are open regional tournaments of its name under the name "Hopes of Siberia".

Today, Irina Viktorovna is the vice-president of the All-Russian Federation of Rhythmic Gymnastics.

What else did the "artist" do

Being still active gymnast, Irina Chaschina was fond of singing, dancing, participated in photo sessions for glossy magazines and even acted as a model on High Fashion Week.

In 2005, the book "Become Yourself" was published, which the sportswoman devoted to everyone who doubts her own strength, but is still ready to strive for the set goal. The success of the book is largely due to the fact that it contains excerpts from Irina's personal diary, which makes the narrative live and real.

Within three years after leaving the sport, Ira was pleased to participate in numerous television shows, such as "Dancing on Ice", "Circus with the Stars" and others. She was interested, but over time she realized that "not her".

Already in the civil service, in 2009 Chashchina accepted the invitation of the director V. Pasichnyk to star in the movie "The Way". In the film, she was assigned one of the main roles - gymnast, forced to make a choice between an unloved husband and a beloved young guy. And although, in fact, the film was a militant, for Irina it was a completely new experience, for which she even refused to become a deputy of the Omsk Legislative Assembly.

Family life

In 2011, Chaschina accepted the offer of the hand and heart from the businessman Evgeny Arkhipov, whose first two attempts were unsuccessful. Young people have met for two years, but tight graphics did not give the opportunity to develop relationships fully. As Irina Chashchina says, the husband did not really hurry with the offer, for a long time disappearing for his business affairs. This was the reason that, he twice was refused.

Today, the life of the spouses has not become less saturated, but it makes it possible not to get tired of ordinary life and to miss each other. Of course, I also have common interests with Ira and Eugene - it's a sport. Eugene is at the head of the All-Russian Federation of rowing on canoes and kayaks.

Purposefulness, the will to win, stubbornness and incredible charisma is what made Irina Chashchina a recognizable and very significant person in the sporting history of our state. Surely we will hear more than once about its achievements and new projects.
