Irbis TZ70: reviews, specs, reviews

The Irbis TZ70 (8gb) tablet can be called one of the cheapest devices currently sold in Russian stores. For a seven-inch gadget with support for two SIM cards in retail, they ask for less than five thousand rubles, and if you also arrange an operator's contract, then the purchase will cost less.

Let's try to figure out whether the budgetary Irbis TZ70 should pay attention to unpretentious customers. Reviews of owners about the tablet (and numerous) are very different, but if they are, then the device is in demand and finds its buyer.

In general, judging by the statistics, seven-inch gadgets have been very popular among the domestic consumer for a year now and occupy the top lines of all sorts of ratings and reviews. Such tablets with equal success can be used both for reading books and for watching news with films. Naturally, the best way is to diverge low-cost models on the Android platform.

Almost every manufacturer wants to launch gadgets on the market at the lowest price, but with acceptable characteristics. The Russian brand Lanit, which produces the Irbis series, distinguished itself with availability and support for 4G speeds, was no exception.

When you take in your hand any budget gadget, then already on a subconscious level you prepare for the appropriate entourage: brakes, friezes, squeaks, backlashes and other components. Let's see if the Irbis became an exception or confirmed all the mentioned cliches.

Contents of delivery

The contents of the box are not much different from similar devices in this segment. An extra case, a stylus or a set of a headset adds value to the tablet, so it's not necessary to be surprised at their absence.

Contents of delivery:

  • The Irbis tablet itself;
  • Charger;
  • A cable for data exchange between a computer and a micro-USB / USB device;
  • The manual is completely in Russian;
  • Guarantee ticket.

In the presence of everything only the most necessary, without any excesses and innovations. If there is a desire, then you can easily buy some accessory separately for Irbis TZ70. The feedback from owners about the delivery set is mostly positive: a good and strong box, a monolithic charger without gaps, detailed instructions and a cable for synchronization of sufficient length.

Dimensions

Many users consider seven- and eight-inch models of gadgets ideal in terms of dimensions. The Irbis tablet is a little underweight to this level, and its appearance is more like an e-book.

The dimensions of the 7-inch gadget TZ70 are standardized: 192 x 120 x 11 mm with a weight of 270 grams. The device is quite compact and it is quite comfortable to operate it with one hand. The device feels great in a women's handbag, backpack or business briefcase. The model is notable for marching, so it's better to immediately take care of protecting the Irbis TZ70. Reviews on this matter are unambiguous: the gadget collects all the dust and dirt like a vacuum cleaner, which means the first thing to do after buying a tablet is to buy at least some protective film or a pouch / cover.

Design

Its appearance "Irbis" does not differ much from most budget models: simple, without any frills, and modest. The whole body is made of plastic: the back side has a leather cover (matte) with a stitch at the edges, and the front one is clean gloss. The front part, of course, collects fingerprints and dust, while the rear part is more practical in this respect, but is prone to scratches. The case looks more or less monolithic, and the details are fitted, as they say, on the conscience.

Front

Almost the whole front part is occupied by the touch screen. The border frame has classic attributes for seven-inch gadgets: the length is a bit narrower, the width is thicker. At the top of the vertical part of the screen you can see a pivot of the front camera at 0.3 Mp. Her options are enough except for calls to Skype or simple selfi for avatars, still it's not a camera, but a budget tablet Irbis TZ70. Feedback from users was very warmly received by the presence of an accelerometer and quite a good speaker for playing voice calls, which makes it possible to use the gadget as a classic smartphone.

On the right side at the top we will see the button for turning off and locking the screen, and also a rocker for adjusting the volume. Nearby are the micro-USB port and the headset interface (3.5 mm).

Rear

On the back there is a main camera with a resolution of 2 megapixel (sadly, that without a flash). Under the plastic concealed cover there are slots for two SIM cards (standard size) and a place for memory cards such as micro SD.

At the bottom of the device is a speaker for audio playback with a very good margin of maximum volume, although this point is poorly worked out: above the average, the audio stream begins to wheeze and hiss.

In general, the quality of the assembly of the tablet can be estimated on a solid four.

Display

Irbis TZ70 (firmware TZ70.FW.2015-09-06) has a very modest resolution of 1024x600 points, and this is a very small figure by modern standards. The only thing that pleases is the presence of IPS-matrix, but nevertheless in text documents and in the photo, pixelation is visible. But if you do not look closely, then you can work, after all, we have in our hands the state budget Irbis TZ70. The display is generally adequate: the level of brightness and contrast is sufficient, and the color scheme does not look completely artificial. The picture on the output turns out with a juicy shade, and work on a sunny day does not cause any problems or discomfort.

At Irbis TZ70 the review and a visual angular inclination also do not cause any serious censures. You can easily browse through photos or watch movies in the company of one or two friends. The only thing that causes discomfort when working with the tablet is vertical viewing angles: it is only necessary to tilt the gadget a little, as the colors start to be inverted, which you can not say about the horizontal development - everything is in order here.

Autonomous work

The Irbis TZ70 tablet (firmware TZ70.FW.2015-09-06) is equipped with a lithium-ion battery for 2800 mAh. With intensive use of the device (wi-fi, high-definition video, demanding games) it will last about an hour or four. If you do not go online often and use a tablet to view photos or read books, the battery will sit for about a day. The average charging time (up to 100%) is about 2.5 hours.

Summarizing

The budget segment of seven-inch gadgets is not just saturated, but without exaggeration - oversaturated. On the shelves of shops you can see gadgets of any color and with a diverse set of characteristics. Model TZ70 is a bright representative of its class. The low price was affected by the very slow speed of work, a small amount of RAM, a mediocre camera and the same screen where pixelation is visible.

Of the obvious advantages, we can note the possibility of working at 4G-speeds, a good platform, compact size and, of course, a price tag. But nevertheless, to level out the existing shortcomings at the price of a gadget to the fullest, alas, is beyond its power. Therefore, to recommend this tablet for purchase is difficult - too much he is thoughtful and slow. It is much more interesting, and more practical, to look for something more smart with 3G, but for the same money, or to save on a more expensive and high-quality model, if you so need 4G. Fortunately, there is a choice in stores, and domestic "pancakes", while they go by a lump and improve. Perhaps, in the future, "Lanit" and surprise us with a quality gadget, but today the whole model range of the brand is lost in a pile of Chinese analogues.
