International Tea Day - a holiday of health

Only about a dozen countries are engaged in tea production. But they drink it all over the planet. Therefore, the International Tea Day is not considered only a holiday of Indians and Chinese people. No. Tea is loved by all nations, and holidays are also to their liking.

Why was International Tea Day proclaimed?

By this act, public organizations wanted to draw attention to the plight of those who work in the field of growing tea leaf. The fact is that the plantations are in the mountains, it is necessary to work early in the morning (so as not to violate the technology). And work on tea is almost the same women. There is one more problem: small producers do not maintain competition with corporations. Their costs for the production of tea leaves do not pay off all the time with falling prices. Nevertheless, the technology of growing this plant is such that small producers produce the highest quality product! It was these situations that tried to draw the attention of the world to those who initiated the celebration.

When is International Tea Day celebrated?

The World Public Forum decided that on December 15 the world will talk about tea production. This date is Tea Day! And although at first they thought that it would be celebrated only in those countries whose budget is formed by this production, but the idea was liked. Now International Day of Tea is remembered around the world by various activities. So, in Russia an exhibition was organized, dedicated to various types of this drink, in 2009.

A little bit about the history of tea

Legend has it that the Chinese emperor named Shen Nung taught the people how to brew leaves. It was three thousand years before the birth of Christ. It is believed that Shen Nung, as an experiment, filled one leaf with boiling water. The drink turned out so fragrant that the admired emperor ordered to grow it and use it everywhere. Since then, new varieties have been created. The medicinal properties of the drink have been studied, but new research opens up new "usefulness" of the drink. The main thing: love for him People does not run out with time. Tea has already five thousand years, its popularity is only growing!

How to make a holiday world-wide: ideas

International Tea Day for producing countries gives an opportunity to highlight their problems. And for the rest - an excellent opportunity to talk with the people about the priorities of a healthy lifestyle. It would be quite good if in the territory of many modern countries this holiday was held on a big scale. Slogans are possible such: "Tea instead of alcohol!", "The best feast is tea drinking" and so on. Of course, you can think of and more interesting, but the idea is clear! Having at hand such an excellent, practically therapeutic drink, the people still consider it necessary to be given absolutely different libations on holidays. If the celebration was supported at the intergovernmental level, it would be a real act of states to preserve the health of nations! In Europe, as well as in Russia, there is a lot of talk about a decrease in the birth rate, a rapid loss of the gene pool, and such an excellent opportunity to take certain actions for a practical solution to the problem is not noticed.
