Insecticide "Delcid": instructions for use, indications and peculiarities of use

Quite often, pet owners face such a problem as infecting their pets with fleas, ticks and other hair parasites. Of course, maybe in the 19th century such techniques worked, but in the modern world there is an excellent drug that will quickly rid the annoying parasites in a short time.

What is this tool?

A concentrated agent in the form of an emulsion designed to kill parasites and arachnoentomoses in dogs, cats and other pets is Delcid. The instruction for use states that the drug is also widely used for disinfestation and deacupation of premises where animals are kept. The main component, called deltamethrin, has a detrimental effect on parasites of various types, is safe for four-legged friends, has no toxic and locally irritating effect. "Delcid" is produced in ampoules. The instructions for use contain information on the exact dosages of the preparation and the principles of its action.

Composition

The main component in the "Delcid" is a 4% solution of deltamethrin. To enhance the working qualities of the substance, auxiliary constituents are added to the composition. The liquid looks like a brown solution of oily consistency. The product is dispensed into ampoules of 1.5 and 2 ml, as well as in metal bottles of 3.5 and 20 ml each.

"Delcid", instructions for the use of which goes in each package, retains its quality for 2 years from the date of release. The finished solution has an effect for 2 days, after which it is recyclable.

Treatment

To eliminate parasites in the body of domestic animals, it is necessary to process not only them, but also all the premises where the pets of the family had access. The treatment of four-legged animals is carried out by spraying or bathing them in the bath. To do this, it is necessary to prepare a working solution of the preparation Delcid. Instructions for use for cats advise to treat them by spraying, because many animals negatively relate to bathing.

The emulsion is prepared before each use. So, ixodids and scabies, fleas, lice, withers, horseflies and other "living creatures" are treated in the calculation of 1 dose per 1.6 liters of warm water. For prophylaxis, apply the solution once, and for treatment use two to three times with an interval of one week between treatments.

First, spray the head, covering the ears, then the trunk, tail and anus, and also the paws of the pet. At the same time, the solution consumption is 7 ml per 1 kg of body weight. Do not spray the eyes, nose and mouth of the animal. During the treatment, the wool is wetted and the solution remains until completely dry without flushing. Do not let the animal lick off Delcid. Instruction for use contains a recommendation not to bathe your pet for 3 days after treatment.

Features of use

After all the procedures for removing the fleas should wash your hands with soap. In the event that "Delcid" gets on the mucous or skin, the instruction for use recommends that the affected area be rinsed with running water for 3-5 minutes. Contraindication to the use of the drug are pregnancy cases of females up to 2 weeks before the expected delivery, weakening and exhaustion of pets.
