How to remove bumps from injections?

Many, even adults , are afraid of injections. In fact, one should not be afraid of this unpleasant procedure, but of its consequences, after all, even after a single injection, such a nuisance as a bump from an injection can arise. Even more likely to occur this complication from the procedures if a long-term course of administration of drugs intramuscularly is required.

Why are bumps from injections formed and can this be avoided? In order for the shot to pass without consequences, you need to use quality syringes with a sufficiently long needle. Some patients believe that using a short needle makes the medication procedure less painful. In fact, when using an insufficiently long needle, the drug is not in the muscle mass, but in the subcutaneous fat layer, which not only leads to the formation of cones, but also reduces the effectiveness of the treatment.

Another condition that reduces the risk of cones is the smooth and gradual administration of the drug. Only in this case it will be distributed evenly. The injection must necessarily be done in a relaxed muscle, which is why health workers always ask the patient to lie down before the procedure.

But what if the bumps from the injections have already formed? Of course, we need to combat this phenomenon, especially since it brings a lot of discomfort.

Before I tell you how to deal with the consequences of injections, I want to warn that if a large seal formed at the injection site and it is hot to the touch and very painful, do not rely on folk methods, you need to go to the surgeon to prevent the development of the abscess.

In other cases, when the bumps from the injections are not too large, you can try to cope with the help of "grandmother's" recipes. In folk medicine, there are many methods that make it possible to remove edema from the sore spot and reduce soreness.

If you get cones from injections, treatment should not be put off for a long time. One of the most effective and at the same time, simple methods of treatment is the application of iodine mesh. To make it very simply, we dip a cotton swab into a pharmacy tincture of iodine, and on top of the edematous area of the skin we draw a frequent mesh.

Not bad relieves the inflammation of the compress from a leaf of cabbage. To do this, a cleanly washed sheet should be attached to the affected area with a patch and left for several hours. Similarly, you can use salted cucumber. To do this, cut a piece of cucumber into the size of a cone and attach it to a sore spot.

You can use for compresses and raw potatoes. To do this, potatoes are rubbed on a grater, wrap the resulting gruel in gauze and apply to the place of solidification.

Nice to remove cones from injections and tincture of propolis. Lubricate the sore spot with petroleum jelly or any fat cream. And from above we put a piece of bandage, folded several times and moistened with a tincture of propolis. We close the top with a cellophane film and fix it with a plaster. Keep such a compress you need at least 4-6 hours.

You can apply to sick places and honey cakes. Mix on a spoonful of butter and honey, add to this mass yolk and flour. Flours need to take so much to get a soft dough. We pluck the pieces from the received dough and attach cakes to the seals. From above such a flat cake is better covered with cellophane.

If you do not really trust the people's methods of treatment, you can also use the pharmacy. For example, make a compress with dimexid. We raise dimexide with vodka in a ratio of four to one and we moisten in the resulting solution a piece of a bandage folded several times. Lubricate the sore spot with petroleum jelly, then apply the prepared lotion, close the bandage with cellophane and fix everything with a plaster. This compress can be done at night.

In addition, ointments with heparin or troxerutin can be used to treat cones formed at the injection site.
