Big accordion for the school event: what you need

To make such a musical instrument, you will need the following:

  • Decorative paper or wallpaper.
  • Cardboard (for example, corrugated).
  • Painting Scotch.
  • PVA.
  • Glue "Moment" or other quick fixation.
  • Pencil, ruler.

Instructions for the manufacture of holiday props

The sequence of work is as follows:

  1. Cut out 4 rectangles from the wallpaper. Dimensions, take what you need, for example, 12x40 and 7x40 (two respectively). Of these, fur will be produced.
  2. Glue from the wrong side of the details of the paint tape.
  3. Make the markings on the workpieces (strips at equal distance), through which the folds are made.
  4. On the inner folds (if viewed from the front side) make cuts about 1.5 cm deep. To ensure that the thin wallpaper does not tear further, and the paint tape is glued.
  5. Those parts that will be located on the accordion vertically (in this example 12x40 cm), you need to make the corners-corners from the resulting incisions.
  6. Cut from the cardboard rectangles corresponding to the height and "depth" of the accordion (here 12x7 cm). Their number should be equal to the number of folds on the workpiece. This will be a kind of stiffener for the bellows.
  7. Apply the glue "Moment" to the smaller end of the cardboard blank and place in the first fold of the paper band-accordion with the notches. Secure with clamps for additional fixation.
  8. Do the same with all cardboard boxes. This will be the upper part of the bellows.
  9. Also make the underside.
  10. When the design is completely dry and glued, close the resulting "skeleton" facade and back.
  11. Side details are made in the form of two cardboard boxes of the appropriate size or find ready. These details are also better to decorate with colored paper or wallpaper.
  12. For greater realism, make an element on one side of the keyboard. It is easy to assemble from several cardboard pieces pasted one on top (to give a thickness) preferably with rounded edges.
  13. Keys and buttons can be drawn or designed as an application, cut out of paper. Round elements are easier to make with a punch.

The main thing is to understand the principle of creating the design itself. You can come up with an absolutely anyone.

As you can see, there are a lot of ways to make an accordion from paper. Choose the one that suits you in complexity. Master yourself and teach the children. This is a useful and interesting activity.
