To taste the vinaigrette with herring is very similar to the salad "Herring under the fur coat." And this is not surprising, because in the presented dish, practically the same ingredients are used.

Step-by-step recipe for vinaigrette with herring

Necessary ingredients for the dish:

  • Bulbs red - 2 pcs .;
  • Average beet - 3 pcs .;
  • Potato tubers large - 3 pcs .;
  • Salted herring - 1 piece;
  • Unrefined sunflower oil - add to taste;
  • Green peas - 1 canned jar (180 g);
  • Average carrot - 3 pcs .;
  • Salt cooked - 1-2 dessert spoons;
  • Lemon juice - from half a fruit;
  • Fresh parsley and dill - per ½ bundle.

Preparation of vegetables

Before making a vinaigrette, you should prepare all the necessary ingredients. For this it is required to wash and boil beets, potato tubers and carrots in salt water. Further, these vegetables should be peeled off with red onion heads.

Vegetable processing

Vinaigrette with herring is cooked in exactly the same way as a normal vegetable salad, but without the use of salted fish. To make such an original dish, you need to chop boiled potatoes, beets and carrots with small cubes. Then it is required to cut the red onion into half rings and pour it onto the remaining ingredients.
