How to make a condom at home. Pharmacy products or home preparations: which is better?

Some are interested in how to make a condom at home. It is not known what exactly drives these people: maybe they just want to conduct an unusual experience and are not going to use the resulting product, or they just want to know how far the human imagination can go in hopeless situations.

But trying to imagine that a certain citizen will try to quickly make a condom for immediate use is beyond our understanding.

Historical reference

People knew how to make a condom very, very long time ago. It is commonly believed that this contraceptive appeared when Charles II, King of England (1630-1685), complained to his court physician of the abundance of all kinds of offspring. And then the doctor suggested using bags from the cecum of the sheep with the addition of a droplet of oil, which prevented an unwanted pregnancy. The doctor's name was Count Condom.

But in fact, condoms were known much earlier and in different parts of the world. So in ancient Greek mythology there is a story about how King Minos used a sheath made from the goat's bladder. So he protected his numerous mistresses from the seed, which turned into snakes and scorpions because of the curse of a jealous wife.

In ancient Egypt, silk bags with ropes were used, in Japan - cases of thinly-made leather. And the ancient Romans used not only products from the intestines, but, horrified, they made condoms from the muscular tissues of defeated enemies.

So condoms are not a modern invention, although quality products began to be made relatively recently, in 1920.

Modern production

Initially, condoms were made of rubber and not the best method - the material was wound on a mold, then the process of vulcanization proceeded. In 1912, they learned how to make seamless condoms, because they could make the material more plastic by adding benzene or gasoline to the rubber. And finally, in 1920, a latex was invented, from which today condoms are produced.

Latex products in comparison with rubber are thinner and are stored much longer (5 years against 3 months).

Latex is obtained from the juice of the tree of Gevea, and the main producer of this material is Thailand. Apparently, therefore, most of the factories for the production of these products are in Asia.

Latex condoms are obtained by dipping the forms into a liquid material, followed by drying. In the finished product add a drop of silicone grease, and in some, attention, food flavors.

The products pass multiple stages of testing, with test specimens conduct tests - inflate, gain water, etc. If the percentage of rejection is large (3-5 items per 100 pieces), then destroy the entire lot.

How to make condoms at home

What can I use instead of a condom? Yes, anything: scotch tape, food film, rubber gloves, bags, etc. After all, everything that is not forbidden is allowed. By the same analogy, you can jump into the window from the third floor instead of going down the stairs. Or try to kiss a feisty bulldog.

Someone will think that you can not compare such things. But judging by the statistics of the spread of HIV and STDs, it is even possible. After all, no home remedy will not protect against viruses and bacteria.

However, if you want to learn how to make a condom at home, here is a recipe from the last century: fresh veal guts should be thoroughly washed and disinfected, and then kept for 24 hours in a solution of the mercury. Well, how far should a pharmacy be if a person chooses to tackle these unattractive procedures instead of buying a standard product?

By the way, there are modern condoms from the intestines, apparently for those who have an allergy to latex. But protecting against unwanted pregnancy and from bacteria, they do not protect against viruses.

Why not try to make a home condom

  1. Pharmacy products are easier to buy, they are inexpensive, tested, and work at 93-95%.
  2. In trying to figure out how to make a condom at home, ask your partner's opinion - few people agree to use dubious unhygienic materials.
  3. It is impossible to get at least some effective product: it probably will not protect either from pregnancy or from venereal diseases. Attempts of comrades to tell that they used this and that, and the girl did not become pregnant, do not deserve attention. Women are not able to conceive all the time, so it's an accident.
  4. In trying to reel something into an intimate place, there is a risk of seriously damaging it. Let's protect our bodies, especially since physicians are already tired of helping the victims as a result of a failed sexual intercourse.
