In some articles it is indicated that it is necessary to consider the perimeter of a repaired premises, but this method, although it gives similar results, is more complicated and it is better not to use it.

So, first of all, you need to know the height from floor to ceiling, as well as the length and width of the room, and not how many in a roll of wallpaper meters - this will be required before the purchase. Also window and door openings are measured , that is all those places where wallpaper will not be pasted. If we now multiply the length by the width of each such opening, we get an area for which a sticker is not needed. In case there is a window, then its area is calculated exactly the same and subtracted from 12. That is, if the window is 1.5 x 1 m in size, then 1.5 square meters will be superfluous. M. Also, it is quite possible that three centimeters unaccounted for will be enough to compensate for the missing area.

Wrong option

Knowing the height of the ceilings, the total length of the roll and the width of the wallpaper, mentally consider the number of bands. Complexity occurs when there is a door or window opening. In principle, although the method gives the same results as when calculating the area, it is more difficult to use.
