How to choose the right laminate for your home?

We all want our home to be a cozy and beautiful nest, which is so nice to come back after a hard day's work. But in order to do it, you need to work hard, plan and do a major overhaul. Usually the hardest thing is with the choice of flooring, because there are a lot of requirements for it, and there are many options, so it's hard to stop the choice on something specific.

After analyzing all the best-selling coatings, the first place should be given to the laminate, because it is inexpensive, reliable and beautiful. All these characteristics make this material very popular with consumers. In addition, it simply fits, it is easy to take care of and, in general, the laminate in the interior looks great.

In order not to make mistakes in the coating, you need to know how to choose the right laminate. To do this, pay attention to the following indicators: panel class, moisture resistance, type of locks and, of course, the manufacturer. In all there are six classes of material, but the first three are not even worth considering, because they are unreliable and will last for a maximum of two years, and even then - under ideal operation. Choose between 31, 32 and 33 classes.

Before you choose the right laminate, you should decide where it will be laid. If the panels are designed for rooms with a small load, for example, bedrooms, then you can choose 31 classes. If you need a more durable coating for the kitchen or hallway, it is better to give preference to the 32 class. By endurance and strength, the most ideal class is 33, it can last up to 20 years. This laminate is successfully used in airports, on dance floors, in waiting rooms and other places of large crowds.

Asking the question of how to choose the right laminate, do not forget about the type of locks. The cheapest panels are kept on the glue system. They should not be bought, because they are inconvenient neither in installation, nor in dismantling, besides, during use, when contact with water, the glue is neutralized with time, and the boards fall out. For this reason, it is better to choose a lock system.

Moisture resistance is completely dependent on the class of panels, the higher it is, the better the moisture resistance. Laminate flooring of 31-33 classes is remarkably tolerant of contact with water, but you should not abuse it, because the coating can swell and deform. By type of surface panels can be natural, textural, conventional, waxed, aged, country, "tree under oil", etc. Which one to choose is a matter of taste.

Many do not know how to choose the right laminate, so the purchased flooring does not last long and does not please tenants. Buying laminate panels necessarily need to consider their characteristics, as well as pay attention to the popularity of the manufacturer. The most demanded is the laminate Tarkett, Pergo and Alloc. Their products will cost a little more, compared to a similar product of competitors, but as a panel there is no doubt. Sometimes it's better to overpay when buying floor covering than to save, and then in a month regret your momentary weakness.
