How to choose a heater for the walls of a wooden house

Building a house is always a responsible business. If a tree is selected for the construction of a dwelling - logs or glued beam - it must be taken into account that this material is very moisture-consuming. The influence of external precipitation on it leads to a change in the geometry of the wood, fungi and signs of rot may appear. The best option is to protect the dwelling from the outside.

To keep in it a cozy atmosphere and comfort, it is necessary to take care of what to choose a heater for the walls of a wooden house. From its quality will depend on the consumption of wood or gas for heating. At the most optimal variant, their volume can be significantly reduced. The material must not be flammable, resistant to moisture. It must retain heat insulation properties for a long time.

Heaters for the walls of a wooden house come in two varieties: organic and inorganic. They belong to different price categories, and the choice largely depends on the needs of the builder. Work with bulk materials will take longer than with their tiled forms. The first option requires a good ramming, as it is able to sag. As a result, voids can form. Regions where the winter is not so severe, and the temperature is not lower than -20 °, prefer to use a heater for the walls of a wooden house of two options: it is either slag or expanded clay.

When plating a house on the outside with mineral wool, it will be necessary to use bars to fix it. If you decide to carry out the operation from the inside of the house, then you have to take into account that in this case the useful area of the rooms will be reduced. For such an option, mineral wool sheets are suitable, which can be used together with a heat-reflecting material. For fixing the structure, a metal profile is used to make the gypsum board. Its dimensions will depend on the thickness of the insulation for the walls of the wooden house chosen by you. Mineral wool can measure seventy-five by fifty millimeters or 100 by 50 millimeters. The profile is attached to the wall from above and below, then the same - vertically. Between them it is necessary to observe the distance from 600 to 800 millimeters. This parameter depends on the width of the drywall: the plates must be placed so that their boundary is in the middle of the width of the metal structure. Mineral wool sheets are laid between profiles and fastened with screws.

A quality universal insulation for the walls of a wooden house is foam glass. The material is non-toxic, non-flammable. It has a low coefficient of thermal conductivity, practically zero moisture and vapor permeability. It does not develop fungi, it is resistant to the effects of microorganisms and insects. In addition, foam glass is reliable and suitable for long-term use.

Before applying a heater for a wooden house, it is necessary to provide waterproofing of walls. In the last turn, they must be sewed with siding. If all operations are carried out in accordance with the necessary requirements, then the home will necessarily be cozy and warm.
