How to bake a pumpkin with sugar in the oven: several options
It is well known that the pumpkin is a real storehouse of vitamins. It is useful literally in any form, from raw to all kinds of porridges, casseroles and desserts. In the food are even seeds (which, incidentally, can be purchased not only in the market, but also in the pharmacy). But, unfortunately, not everyone loves this delicious product. And so, to feed their own households with a useful vegetable, many mistresses go on another trick. In this case, you can try baking a pumpkin with sugar in the oven. Such a dessert will be both useful and tasty, so that even the most capricious sweet tooth will be satisfied.
How to cook a baked pumpkin with cinnamon?
This is not too difficult recipe will certainly be to the taste of lovers of spicy sweets. The composition of the dish includes cinnamon, which is traditionally added to apples, but the pumpkin with it gets to fame. To make the dessert truly delicious, it is necessary to approach with all responsibility not only to the cooking process, but also to the selection of products. Sugar is better to use brown (2-3 spoons, to taste), butter - homemade (30 g), and pumpkin - muscat (usually it is not very large, pear-shaped). For the aroma, you still need a teaspoon of cinnamon. Before baking a pumpkin with sugar in the oven, it should be washed and cut in half. Further, seeds are taken from it and small incisions are made across the entire area crosswise. Then it is smeared with butter, which is better pre-melted in a microwave, sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar.
The resulting halves are cut into slices and served as a dessert. If the food is intended for children, then everyone can take a spoon and eat directly from the common halves. Sometimes such a dish is used as a semi-finished product to create a puree or a more complex dessert.

Best of all, if it is not too large, but in shape is close to ideal, that is round. For 2 kg of pumpkin you need a glass of rice, a small apple, 2 quinces, 75 g of prunes, a spoonful of sugar, 2 tablespoons of honey, some vanilla, 50 g of butter. Those who do not like prunes, you can advise to replace it with dried apricots. And if there were no quinces at hand, they are limited to apples.
Next, clean the quince, cut into cubes and, pour a little water on a frying pan, slightly weld it. Add the apples, sugar, vanilla and honey prepared in the same way. Prunes are removed from the water, ground and sent to the rest of the ingredients. At the end of the process, oil is added. As soon as it melts and the sugar is completely dissolved, the mixture is removed from the fire and combined with rice.
The resulting mass of stuffing a pumpkin, cover it with a lid and put in the oven for an hour and a half. They serve it in a cooled form entirely, removing the lid and watering it with sweet syrup, sauce or liquid jam.
