Hedgehogs made of minced meat - this dish is loved by many, and especially by children. It is prepared very simply, but the result exceeds all expectations. A special delight it causes in small gourmets. Despite the simplicity of cooking, it can not be called easy on calories. This dish is very nourishing, tasty and appetizing. You can prepare it in several versions and under different sauce.

Hedgehogs stuffed with sour cream

For their preparation, you need about 300 grams of stuffing. It is better if it is several types of meat (for example, beef + pork). Also take about 100 grams of rice. Here, too, there is room for one's own preferences. You can take an ordinary round, wild or long-grain rice. As ingredients, you will also need a glass of water, two small onions or one large, one carrot and one egg. In advance it is necessary to prepare a mixture of stewed vegetables, but any raw ones will do. Also prepare one spoonful of ketchup and mayonnaise, two tablespoons of sour cream, a small spoonful of mustard, seasonings (paprika, salt, turmeric, any pepper and oregano) and fresh herbs (dill).

These are all the ingredients that are needed to make hedgehogs with rice. Now let's start creating them. Rice should be boiled until half cooked. Then rinse it well and dry it a little. Stuffing is mixed with finely chopped onion, egg and spices. After that, we mix it thoroughly. Now add the boiled rice to it and mix it again well.

Next, we form hedgehogs from minced meat. Do this by hands dipped in water so that the meat does not stick to them. We put the frying pan on the fire and fry the hedgehogs in a small amount of vegetable oil. Separately mix sour cream, mustard, mayonnaise, ketchup and stewed or raw vegetables. We pour water into this mixture, add salt to taste. Now fill the hedgehogs in a pan with cooked sauce and simmer for about 30 minutes. Hedgehogs from minced meat can be served as a separate dish. They are also suitable for any vegetables, greens, salads and side dishes.

To give pleasure to children and make their food more interesting, you can prepare hedgehogs with a filling. To do this, you need 10 boiled eggs, 500 grams of any minced meat, two cloves of garlic, several spoons of mayonnaise and sour cream, one or two cooked carrots and one raw egg. You also need to prepare spaghetti for decoration.

10 eggs are pre-boiled and cleaned. Then cut them into two halves and remove the yolk. Yolks mash with a fork and mix them with grated cheese, carrots, chopped garlic, mayonnaise or sour cream. Solim to taste. We start with this mixture halves of eggs and combine them in pairs.

In the mince we add chopped onion, pepper, egg, salt and mix it well. Now, in a small amount of stuffing, lay the stuffed egg and form an oval. Then give it a slightly elongated shape that resembles a hedgehog. From above simulate needles from slices of spaghetti. We send the hedgehogs to the oven for 30-40 minutes. You can serve them with any side dish. It's not only delicious, but also very funny. This meal is suitable for children's menu.
