Glazov Feed Mill, its development

In the late 70's and 80's in the Udmurt Republic began to gain momentum in agriculture, such as poultry and livestock. In this regard, the need for fodder appeared in the region. To solve this problem, the construction of a plant for the production of mixed fodder was laid. And by 1986, the Glazovsky Feed Mixed Plant (GKZ) was launched. At that time, its capacity was about 700 tons of products per day.

History of formation

In 1979 the construction of the plant began. In 1984, the first elevator was launched, which produced combined feeds. The design capacity allowed the plant to produce up to 735 tons of products per day. Glazov's feed mill sold the bulk of its products to poultry farms, collective farms and pig-breeding complexes in Udmurtia.

In the early 90's due to the negative economic situation in our country, many agricultural enterprises lost their solvency. Following this, the plant significantly reduced production volumes and was close to bankruptcy. From 1996 to 2000 GKZ was idle without work. So, for 2000 only 2 tons of mixed fodder were produced. In the same year, the first batch of protein-vitamin supplements with minerals was released. The output was only 4 tons. The main goal is to conduct test tests. It was this experiment that proved that OOO Glazovsky Feed Mixed Plant is one of the most promising enterprises in Russia in this direction.

Since 2007, GKZ joined the holding company "Komos Group" and now works under his leadership. "Komos Group" consists of 12 enterprises that produce food products in the Perm Territory and Udmurtia. These are 5 poultry factories, 4 milk processing enterprises, 2 large pig-breeding complexes and 1 feed mill. All of them are the largest in their segment of the agricultural market in the region.

What the plant produces

GKZ Produces fodder for pigs, cattle, geese, chickens and chickens, ducks, turkeys. The list of products manufactured by the plant includes:

• Mixed fodder;

• Mineral additives;
• Food additives to forages;
• Protein and vitamin supplements;
• Amino acids for enriching the fodder mass;
• Granulated feed;
• Vitamin supplements.

In addition, the Glazov Feed Mill consults on the preparation of rations for agricultural livestock and poultry, and provides recommendations.

In Russia, one of the best is considered to be the feed produced by the Glazov Feed Mill, which is regularly published in the mass media. The quality of the products allows the manufacturer to confidently compete in the market with other manufacturers. GKZ takes the fourth place in the country for the balance of feed, and the second - for their safety.

Thanks to a wide range of produced mixed fodders, the plant cooperates with many regions of our country. GKZ constantly increases its volumes, develops steadily and attracts a new customer base. Mixed fodders are in demand not only in the Udmurt Republic, but also beyond its borders: in Perm Territory, Astrakhan and Nizhny Novgorod Regions, Bashkortostan, Mari El, Kirov Region, Chuvashia and others.

Awards

The company annually improves its production technology, so it regularly receives awards. So, GKZ was awarded the highest award of Russia in the field of food "For prosperity and abundance of Russia". In 2010, the plant received a diploma of the first degree at the international exhibition "Grain. Mixed feed. Veterinary Medicine - 2010 "in the nomination" Mixed fodders and premixes ".

For several years Glazov Feed Mill has been recognized as the winner in the Russian contest of high social efficiency in the nomination "For the development of the labor market in the organizations of the production sphere".
