Gauleiter in fascist Germany is who? Hierarchy of the NSDAP

The history of fascist Germany is short-lived, but very bloody. The beginning was given to her by the Great Depression, a world economic crisis that began in 1929 and particularly affected the countries of big capital: the USA and Canada, Great Britain, France and Germany. In 1933, he destroyed the Weimar Republic and contributed to the coming to power of Adolf Hitler.

Rise to power

Six million unemployed, the general growing discontent of citizens gave rise to drastic radicalization (the extreme uncompromising commitment to certain views) of society. Many supported the Communists (almost 17%), but the supporters of the Nazi Party were almost twice as many. Adolf Hitler destroyed on his way to power, and his and others, as a result of which on January 30, 1933 he became the Reich Chancellor of Germany.

Nazi Germany was a totalitarian state with a one-party system (like all similar regimes), whose state policy was internal terror and external expansion.

Fascist state

In the occupied territories, and enslaving the whole of Europe, dotted with concentration camps, terror became the norm and law. Nazi Germany died with its demoniac Fuhrer, but officially the Third Reich ceased to exist on May 23, 1945, at a time when the Flensburg government, headed by Karl Dönitz, was dissolved. Destruction and discrimination of enslaved peoples is the official policy of this vampire state, which existed for 12 years. Who managed the huge conquered territories, who was responsible for establishing and observing the "new order" on the lands entrusted to it?

Administrative-territorial unit

Gauleiter in fascist Germany is an official, burdened with full authority in that administrative-territorial unit, or "gau", where the Führer personally appointed him. Actually, this is the head of the district. In 1933 - the head of the electoral district, which was 33. Subsequently, when the conquered territories appeared, the districts (not electoral) became 43. Back in 1925, after the failed "beer putsch", the NSDAP was reorganized, resulting in the appearance of a gauleiter. And in 1928 this post was included in the list of party ranks, and her emblem was two oak leaves in buttonholes.

Hierarchy in the Third Reich

The ranks in fascist Germany, like ranks and signs, were army, SS, and party. Since the head of the gau belonged to the latter structure, it is necessary to consider the party organization of the Reich in more detail. The highest rank at the imperial level was possessed by the Reichsleiter (the oldest after Hitler), then at the gau level, there was, of course, Gauleiter, the district level was represented by the Kraisleiter, and the ostrogruppenweiter was the main one at the local level. It can be stated that Gauleiter in fascist Germany is the head of the NSDAP on the territory given to him in undivided use, that is, he occupies the highest party position in this area. His power there was undivided, before him was only the task of the Fuhrer. He had his own power structure, his subordinates, namely: immediately after the Gauleiter was his deputy, who was subordinate to the Hauptamtweiter, or a responsible executive in inner-party affairs. Then in order were the amtlesayter, hapstelllleiter, stellenlayter and mitarbeiter.

Party rank

As already noted, Gauleiter in fascist Germany is one of the highest ranks in the National Socialist Workers' Party of fascist Germany. Until 1939 Gauleiter was also a post, and a rank, after - only a post. So the deputy Gauleiter - after 1939 this post could have been held by functionaries with the title of Beeflesleiter and Hauptdinstwether. They had to wear an armband confirming the position they held. The Party hierarchy of the Third Reich is rather complicated. Hitler created a unitary state, the government and party apparatus in which they grew as much as possible.

Who is the Reichskommissar

Gauleiter in fascist Germany is at the same time an imperial governor. He was the peculiar chief-president of the "gau" entrusted to him. That is, the main thing does not happen. The provincial government appointed by the Fuhrer to the governor was completely subordinate.

However, there were still posts of Reichskommissars or governors. In fact, the Reich Commissar performed the functions of the government without entering into its composition, and directly submitted only to the Fuhrer. The most striking example is Hermann Göring at the post of Reichskommissar of Aviation. But as more and more lands were enslaved, these posts began to be introduced in new territories to implement imperial policy on them. Its only purpose was the following: at the first stage - to squeeze all the possible out of these regions, mercilessly exploiting economic and human resources, in the second - to clear, completely destroy or turn into working cattle the local population and prepare territories for German settlers-colonists.

Territorial division of enslaved territories

For the maximum enslavement of annexed lands, the following Reichskommissariat was established: the Netherlands, Norway, Ostland, Ukraine (formed August 20, 1941 with the capital in Rovno), Muscovy, the Caucasus and Turkestan. The last two were only planned, Muscovy was established, but for certain reasons it was dissolved. Ukraine was less fortunate - in 1942 Gauleiter Koch took the post of Reichskommissar of this country. Who is he - Erich Koch, above which was only the sun, and steeper - only Hitler? He had plenty of posts and ranks. In this regard, it should be noted that, in addition to all the above posts, titles, ranks, meaning one single thing - unlimited power, there was also the post of head of civil administration, and she was also occupied by Erich Koch (Belostok district).

Everything holding Koch

In addition, this Obergruppenfuhrer SA (army general-lieutenant) was Gauleiter and propresident of East Prussia. At the post of Reichskommissar of Ukraine he stayed until 1944, combining all the above posts. And in all positions, he was extremely rude, and cruelly superior to all other Nazi executioners. This large Nazi functionary is more famous in our country precisely because he was the master of Ukraine, although his name is associated with the disappearance of the Amber Room, and with the arrival of the Ribbentrop delegation in Moscow in 1939.

The Nazi bonze

Erich Koch, literally, was not a Gauleiter of Ukraine; he was a Reichskommissar, because the title "Gauleiter" was abolished in 1939. Most likely, in the public consciousness, this term was inextricably linked with the concept of the owner, who was exposed to unlimited power, which he used to the fullest. Although in some articles it is called "Gauleiter of the Reich Commissariat of Ukraine". In a word, a slaveholder who, with respect to Russians (or rather Soviet), was not going to be. Koch declared that the life of this people is unprofitable for Great Germany, therefore, they are not talking about any colonization and exploitation, they will all simply be destroyed. We can add that this inquisitor spent 36 years in a rather comfortable prison, which he himself built, and the Soviet government did not demand his extradition. He lived to be 90 years old.

Germs of neo-Nazism

Gauleaters of Germany were the most faithful dogs of Adolf Hitler. After the war, this title was recalled in the 1950s in connection with the Naumann Circle, or the "Gauleiter's Circle". Then in this country the neo-Nazi movement became very active. Having merged around Werner Naumann (Minister of Press and Propaganda of the Third Reich), the former fascist functionaries wanted to penetrate into the highest legislative and executive bodies of the FRG.
