Gallstone disease or cholecystitis, symptoms

It is known that the gallbladder is a storage place for bile, which is secreted by the liver and which is necessary for the normal development of the human body. In the case of metabolic disorders or bile duct defects, its composition changes, which leads to the formation of stones in the bladder, and in many cases an inflammatory process occurs. This phenomenon in medicine is called cholecystitis, the symptoms of which are manifested vividly. This disease is observed most often in women who have a large weight, at the age of more than forty years.

The disease can occur as with the formation of stones, while talking about a disease such as calculous cholecystitis, the symptoms of which are very pronounced, and without the formation of stones, which is called calculous cholecystitis.

Inflammation of the gallbladder is:

1.Infection. Bacterial or viral inflammation develops due to the entry into the gallbladder of staphylococci, hepatitis virus, intestinal, dysentery or typhoid rod from the intestine along the bile ducts.

2. Non-infectious. It occurs as a result of the appearance of parasites, allergies and when it enters the gallbladder of gastric juice, as well as with liver injuries.

Disease-causing microbes can enter the gallbladder through both blood and lymph, so people suffering from diseases of the intestine, genitourinary system and other organs that are prone to inflammation suffer from cholecystitis.

The causes of the development of such a disease as cholecystitis, the symptoms of which may be different, can be: a wrong diet, frequent nervous tension, pancreatitis, obesity, hepatitis, gastritis, also immune system disorders, chronic infectious diseases, pregnancy, genetic factor and age over 50 years .

So, cholecystitis symptoms are basic: pain in the right hypochondrium, vomiting and nausea, general weakness of the body, increased body temperature, a yellow shade of the skin.

Both acute and chronic cholecystitis are considered, and depending on which form of the disease develops, its corresponding symptoms appear.

In acute form of the disease there is hepatic colic, sharp sharp pains. When chronic cholecystitis develops, the symptoms appear in the form of nausea, dull pain in the hypochondrium from the right side, indigestion arises, fatigue and irritability appear. When chronic urolithiasis worsens , the symptoms appear the same as in the acute form. It should be borne in mind that chronic cholecystitis develops on the background of other diseases, for example, pathologies of the bile canals or discolor.

Thus, the first sign of the development of the disease is aching pain in the abdominal region, which after intake of food or exercise becomes acute, and subsides for several hours. There may be symptoms of poisoning of the body, blood pressure decreases, there is an increase in liver size and noise in the heart. If cholecystitis, the symptoms of which are pronounced, can not be treated, peritonitis may develop.

Treatment of urolithiasis depends on the form of its course. In acute form, urgent hospitalization is needed, conservative treatment with antibacterial agents is used. The main point is the elimination of pain and inflammation. In emergency cases, surgery is performed, as the disease can cause gangrene or perforation of the gallbladder.

When exacerbating a chronic disease, it is recommended that certain diets be observed and phytopreparations used for treatment.

Thus, the treatment of cholecystitis is aimed at eliminating pain, inflammation and poisoning of the body. Medical measures can be both surgical and conservative, depending on the severity of the disease.
