Fur vest with own hands

Recently, incredible popularity among the representatives of the beautiful half of mankind has been won by fur jackets. These elegant, beautiful and warm products perfectly emphasize the individuality and help create a very seductive image.

A fur vest is combined with various items of the wardrobe, especially since such a thing is combined with almost any clothing. Of course, many prefer to buy such stylish gizmos in stores, but a fur vest with their own hands can become a truly exclusive thing and decorate the wardrobe of any woman. And most importantly - a similar model can not be seen on someone else, is this not the main thing for a real fashionista?

A fur waistcoat with your own hands can be made in several ways. The first method requires an old vest, fur and sewing accessories.

The most accessible way to sew an exclusive thing is to take the finished product and trim it with fur (even a jeans waistcoat suitable for a man's size is fit). To determine whether there is enough available quantity of fur for sewing a vest, you need to lay out fur pieces along the entire length of the product and only after that start sewing them, beginning with the bottom of the waistcoat.

Strips of fur should be sewn at a distance of two centimeters from each other; So you need to sew the entire product. To fur coat, sewn by hand, looked beautiful and neat, you need to sew on the edges of the product fur with thick and fluffy pile.

On the shoulders, the strips of fur are joined, so first you need to sew the two strips together, and only then sew them to the shoulder areas of the product.

The second method involves taking measurements and designing the pattern. Those who doubt their abilities, you can try sewing a vest of artificial fur and only then practice with natural material.

To sew a vest, it will take approximately 75 cm of artificial fur and one meter of lining fabric. If you choose fur with a soft and smooth pile, the process of sewing and assembling the product will be quick and easy. When cutting parts, you must always take into account the direction of the pile - it must necessarily look down. A fur waistcoat with its own hands should be done as accurately as possible, otherwise after the assembly of the details, all the shortcomings will be visible and, in addition to the frustration, will not bring anything.

First you need to remove all the necessary measurements - chest, waist and hips. Also, measure the length of the future product. Now you can begin to design the pattern. First you need to draw a rectangle on the paper, the width of which should be equal to the chest circumference, and the length - to correspond to the length of the product. It is also necessary to add two centimeters to the seams. The rectangle should be cut and folded in half.

Now you need to put 75 cm down - this will be the middle of the backrest and shelf. From the top point it is necessary to measure another 6.5 cm - the neck line on the back. A smooth line should be noted neck and hold 12-14 cm straight line under the slope - this will be the shoulder seam.

From the edge of the shoulder seam, you should lay the vertical down about 22 cm, then 4 cm to the right and now round off as an armhole. The connection of the shoulder seam and the waistline forms the cutout of the product. After drawing on the pattern all the necessary drawings, you can cut it and transfer it to the wrong side of the fur. Also should be done with lining material.

Fur and fabric details need to be combined together. This can be done with a sewing machine. The back should be connected to the shoulder seams of the shelf and turn the finished product to the front side through the unsealed hole in the neck. The line of the neck must be sewn by hand with neat secret stitches.

Of course, you can buy a finished product, since many shops offer inexpensive fur vests today, however, sewing a vest on your own, you can get a truly exclusive product that will perfectly emphasize the style and personality of the owner.
