Floor pots: types, purpose

Sometimes pots floor is made of concrete, rattan, glass. You can independently weave the pot in the technique of macrame.

Where better to install

There are several places where large flowerpots will look most spectacular:

  • At the entrance. You can put only one container, but it looks better to pair symmetrically installed containers on either side of the door.

This vase can be made from improvised materials: use kitchen utensils, toys, unnecessary shoes for this. Apply barrels, watering cans, buckets, wicker baskets.

It's easy to make pots of gypsum yourself. This requires:

- the basis;

- Wire for the frame;

- gypsum;

- stripes of fabric;

- Moisture-resistant paints;

- decor.

As a basis, you can use buckets or plastic pots. They are placed on a flat surface upside down. Procedure:

- Rinse the capacity with wire, hiding the edges.

- Remove the frame.

- Dissolve the gypsum to a comfortable density. Dipped strips of fabric and cover the frame on both sides. The walls should not be thinner than 2 cm. The remaining solution is spread on the surface. Leave to dry for a day.

- Clean the pot with sandpaper.

- Paint with paint.

This kashpo is decorated with various decor options. You can make it monophonic, colorful, create a mosaic of glass, beads, small stones. If the style requires, you can apply acrylic lacquer on the surface.
