Drawing programs: features and types

It seems that the culmination and the logarithmic ruler will remain as a legacy of the past: they were successfully replaced by software. In a few decades, such an exotica will be bought by admirers of antiques and antiquities. Programs for drafting have to be mastered not only by professionals, but also by students of technical schools. They are used by architects, designers, design engineers and technologists. The drawing programs have different interfaces, sets of tools and settings. Having tried to work in several of them, you can choose the one that is more convenient for you.

The most popular programs for drawing are AutoCad, A9CAD, NanoCad, Draftsman. The AutoCad utility has a menu in several languages (in Russian too) and allows you to create two- and three-dimensional drawings of varying degrees of complexity. This program implements the ability to change and rebuild the toolbars for you. Much faster is the process of semi-automatic dimensioning and automatic shading of parts.

The A9CAD application is similar in principle to AutoCad, but it has significantly less "weight" and uses fewer resources; however, it allows only 2D drawings to be executed, but free of charge, uses extensive tools. The Graphite program allows you to draw any complexity and detail of the drawing in the very a short time. A user-friendly and intuitive multilingual interface (in Russian including) makes it possible to create two- and three-dimensional drawings.

Among the architects, electricians and representatives of other applied professions, the NanoCad program is popular. With its help, it is perfectly possible to draw a room plan or an electrical circuit. To draw buildings plans, use the Draftsman application. For drawing schemes, ExpressPCB will be convenient, and the product of Russian developers "Schemopostroitel 2003" is also suitable. ExpressSCH will allow you to quickly draw a schematic diagram due to the presence of an extensive database of ready-made elements.

A separate subclass are drafting programs that are used in the design of furniture. Frequently repeated operations in such utilities are automated and require only the substitution of new data. This approach allows you to create projects in record time. Among such programs, "Astra Dissolution 5.4" is popular, which forms a map for sawing of sheet furniture materials. For the design of cabinet furniture use "Basis Cabinet 7.0". For the development of interior design is convenient program "Astra Designer Furniture 1.2".

Most of these programs are distributed for a fee. So, for example, the well-known utility AutoCad costs 4000 dollars. Not everyone can afford such a luxury. But A9CAD is a free drawing program that will completely satisfy a student of any technical college. It's a bit difficult to get used to the drawing process implemented in this application, but as time went by, there was no inconvenience.

Free software for drawing, as a rule, has a somewhat limited functionality, but it is more than enough to perform work at the level of higher or secondary educational institutions. And for those who have professional activity connected with drafting, it will not be a problem to pay for a tool with which the work will go faster.
