Today, such a dream can be bought in almost any children's store. But not everyone or not always can afford to part with a significant share of monthly earnings. And it does not matter. After all, you can build a doll house with your own hands. Believe me, from a small house made for own dolls, a little princess will feel no less than pleasure.

Required material

Of course, the choice of the main material depends on the desired final result. If you are planning to create a large dollhouse with many rooms on several floors, then give preference to plywood. However, this method is rather troublesome. In the case of a small house for small dolls, you can get by with an ordinary cardboard box. Puppet houses can be made from sheets of expanded polystyrene. The foamy structure of this material easily lends itself to a writing knife. The ease of such a design can be attributed to one of the advantages of using this material.

It is advisable to begin the "construction" of the house from the project. This business can be entrusted to the future owner of a luxurious palace. Then, proceeding from real possibilities, we transfer the project on dense sheets of paper (it is possible to use a cloth of wall-paper). Prepared patterns are used to make parts from the selected material. In addition, we will need glue, toothpicks and material for wall finishing.

Home construction

The main details of the house are the walls and the basement. The optimal depth for the structure is 30 cm. The width of the entire structure is 120 cm. Next, we mark out the lateral (30x30 cm) and front walls. In advance, we cut out the window openings on the details.

First, the walls of the joint are lubricated with glue. We pierce the toothpicks with a toothpick for strength. And in the wall only half of the sharp fixings go, the second part is immersed in the closing cloth. Step by step we collect the whole construction, following the given project. After the whole construction is assembled, it is necessary to strengthen the window openings. To do this, we cut out from the used material a strip of width corresponding to the thickness of the wall. From them we form a window unit, gluing strips along the inner perimeter of the opening. Lastly, proceed to the decoration of the structure. Given the design parameters, the dimensions of the window openings, we cut out the "clothes" for the walls from the wallpaper. In order for the doll house to resemble a small fairy-tale kingdom, we decorate the windows and the end part of the walls with moldings, which can be purchased at any construction shop. For wall decor you can use a paper curb. The floor is lined with pieces of linoleum.
