Early career: "Eurosport"

How did the professional path that Dmitriy Shnyakin had started? The biography of the future football commentator is rather unusual.

Career Dmitry began as a simple columnist on the site "World Football". There he worked relatively little - only a year (2005 - 2006).

Serious place in the life of Dmitry Shnyakin is "Eurosport", where he served as a correspondent and editor. Just then, working on Eurosport, Dmitry got his first experience as a sports commentator, as well as news anchor on Eurosport and Eurosport 2 channels. On his first real broadcast Shnyakin, so to speak, asked for it. At that time he was only eighteen years old, and he, daring, offered Nikolai Saprin, already a professional, to work together a friendly match.

Also Dmitry showed himself as a true universal soldier. According to his own calculations, he commented about twenty different sports for the whole time of work on Eurosport. Among them: beach women's volleyball, beach football, surfing and even bullreading (sports cups).

However, Dmitry Shnyakin did not stop there. To a man who was energetic in life, he also had enough strength to work on Finam FM radio in the already habitual position of a sports correspondent.

On the main sports channel of the country Dmitry Shnyakin, the commentator is already experienced, got not somehow, but through the competition. He was admitted to the future colleague by the shop - Georgy Cherdantsev. After the invitation to the television center, Shnyakin began to comment on the reviews of the Champions League matches. Then, having successfully passed this stage, he got into the studio "NTV-Plus". In the final of the contest, where it was necessary immediately comment on any match, Dmitry Shnyakin took second place, and Elvin Kerimov, who is now also Dmitry's colleague, won.

It is interesting that in the finals Shnyakin was a little lucky: he got the match of "Milan" and "Roma" - two big Italian teams. And Dmitry never hid his sympathy for calcio. At the 1998 World Cup, while still a teenager, he was a fan of the Italian team, also very worried about Andrei Shevchenko, who became famous when he competed for AC Milan.

Dmitry Shnyakin joined the company of the main commentators of the country very quickly and painlessly. He was not embarrassed by the traditional journalistic jokes and even small taunts, without which it's never the case in such an environment.

Since 2016 the staff of NTV-Plus journalists has become part of the large holding company Match. To date, Dmitry Shnyakin works as a football commentator, expert and correspondent on this channel.

Hobby

Dmitri is a highly active person who opposes any kind of procrastination. In the past, he was seriously engaged in wrestling, currently playing for an amateur football club. As he admits himself, all life for him is one solid sport. It can be a simple house cleaning, and sex, and work. The competition aspect for Shnyakin is one of the most important in life.

Dmitry does not hide his love for the Italian championship and Serie A in particular. Once he even visited Rome at the legendary stadium "Olimpico", where the local "Roma" played with the Florentine "Fiorentina". During this trip there was an entertaining episode: Dmitry got to the stadium by taxi, but the driver got "latsiale" (a loyal fan of another Roman club - "Lazio"). Therefore, for the match, then Shnyakin with his friend-commentator Dmitry Zichkin almost did not miss the game.
