Diet with cholelithiasis

In addition, the menu for cholelithiasis involves the use of a large amount of fluid - at least 1 - 2 liters per day. It can be simple non-carbonated water, juices, fruit drinks or compotes. This precaution is simply necessary, since the increased intake of liquid into the body significantly reduces the density of bile and prevents the formation of stones.

Diet in cholelithiasis must necessarily limit or exclude fats of animal origin. This does not mean that you need to give up meat, since protein is simply necessary for most processes in the body. But you must definitely give up pork, fat and fatty sausages. People with this disease are advised to eat beef, rabbit, chicken or turkey. The only thing that should be taken into account is that meat should be served only in boiled form. As for sausages, it is recommended to use only low-fat cooked sausage, but in no case smoked. By reducing the amount of cholesterol, the sick person simultaneously significantly reduces the risk of stone formation.

The diet for cholelithiasis should include as many products with a high content of magnesium and fiber. These include fresh vegetables, buckwheat porridge, oat flakes, wheat bran, fruit. It is worth noting that when sufficient amount of fiber enters the body, a noticeable improvement in intestinal motility is observed, and bile secretion is stimulated. On the other hand, such food will be an excellent prevention of diseases such as diabetes and obesity.

As for dairy products, they are allowed to be sick. You just need to make sure that sour cream, cottage cheese, melted cheeses are not too greasy, but ideally not skimmed at all.

Lean fish varieties are also allowed , and it should be boiled, jellied or stuffed, but not fried at all. Salads from seafood, as well as not too salted herring, mussels and squid - these foods can be eaten in not too large quantities.

As for drinks, they are quite diverse. This can be green tea, not too strong coffee with milk, as well as fresh juices from fruits and vegetables. Very useful are hops from rose hips and broths from wheat bran, as they contain a huge portion of fiber and magnesium.

Diet in cholelithiasis provides for the presence of vegetable oil. For example, every day a person with this problem should consume at least one tablespoon of any vegetable oil. They can fill vegetable salads. Ginger is also very useful product. The fact is that this product stimulates and facilitates the processing of fats in the body, thereby reducing the burden on the gallbladder.
