Compact Opel Meriva

The new Opel Meriva has little in common with its predecessor. "Family" features remained in the design of the car, which has long been appreciated around the world. In May 2010, the car won the prestigious Design Award. Like its predecessor, the car is a symbiosis of different Opel models.

The driver's seat is very spacious, just like in the previous version of this model. The visibility of the car increased due to the approach of the windshield to the front seats, the triangular same lateral is located in the door, and not in the front rack. The overloaded center console is already familiar to virtually all Opel models. Finding the desired function among 44 buttons is quite difficult at first. They may be less, it all depends on the equipment of the car.

The new Opel Meriva has increased the number of shelves, niches and various drawers. The glove compartment is still small. The volume of the trunk increased, it is 400 liters. The maximum volume of the trunk of the car with the seats folded is about 1500 liters.

In our country, Meriva is more popular with a 1.4 liter engine and 100 horsepower. This is enough for a city drive. If you want to purchase the most powerful engine in 140 hp, you will need to pay about 4 thousand euros.

Opel Meriva, whose clearance is 160 mm, is suitable for driving on domestic roads. The ground clearance is always of interest to buyers, because the quality of roads still leaves much to be desired, which can send your car to the workshop in a very short time.
