No party can do without hot drinks. And "Bloody Eye" (cocktail) is perfect for surprise guests at the party. At the same time, it can become an attribute of the decor of the room. And it's a great alternative to another famous cocktail - "Bloody Mary".

A bit about the cocktail

The cocktail "Bloody Eye" is considered a traditional drink for the celebration of Halloween, or All Saints Day, in the United States of America and Europe. To prepare it does not require special skills in bartending. The whole essence of the name is only in a very interesting cocktail presentation.

Ingredients for cocktail "Bloody Eye"

To make one serving of this interesting drink, you need to take:

• One radish;
• One olive or a berry of grapes;
• A small piece of red pepper;
• 65 milliliters of gin or vodka;
• 25 milliliters of dry gin;
• Half a teaspoon of cherry syrup.

The last component can be replaced with the same amount of raspberry liquor.

Cooking procedure

Cocktail "Bloody Eyes" is done as follows:

1. Radish should be washed well and wiped with a paper towel. Next it is necessary to cut the tails. Then a small knife is taken, and a "glazika" frame is made from the vegetable. To do this, the knife is carefully cleaned with a knife so that pink veins remain, serving as blood vessels.
2. The middle of the radish is carved and inside is placed the berry of the grapes or the olive, previously stuffed with pepper.
3. Take a shape for the ice in which the prepared radish is put and poured completely with water.
4. The form is put in the freezer for twenty minutes.
5. While the "eye" freezes, it is necessary to mix the drink. For this purpose, in one glass all the liquid ingredients are drained in the required proportions.
6. When everything is ready, with the help of the "eye" from the radish, you should decorate the glass. For this, the "bloody" decor comes from the ice mold and simply sinks into the glass with a ready-made drink.
7. If you have little time and you do not have time to freeze the "eye", then take a skewer for drinks and nourish on it stuffed radish, then put it in the glass.

Note: the "bloody eye" from the radish serves not only the decor of the drink, but also the snack.

Even as a decor, you can beforehand pour alcohol, at the bottom of the cocktail, grate the horseradish finely.

Alternative drink recipe

There is another way to prepare a cocktail "Bloody Eye". That's what Tom Cruise himself did in the movie of the same name.

To create it, you need to take:

• One yolk;
• 180 milliliters of tomato juice;
• 240 milliliters of light beer.

You can do the opposite, and pour more tomato juice, and beer less. It's better to stick to the proportions.

Recipe:

1. Take a high glass.
2. Break the egg and yolk pour into the bottom of the glass.
3. Top with a yolk neatly pour in tomato juice.
4. Top up the light beer.
