Clara Petachchi: biography, photo, Clara Petachchi's family after her death
Clara Petacci went down in history not as a friend of the duce, but as a woman whose love deserves only admiration and respect: she could not breathe without her Benito, Senora Petacci closed her beloved body and died first, she could not be torn from Mussolini.
Mussolini's only love
Perhaps, we should not admire the love story of the fascist dictator, but Clara Petachchi had nothing to do with the actions of Benito Mussolini, she lived only with love.
Loved from childhood
Clara Petachchi (photo attached) was a real Italian beauty - a snow-white face with huge luminous eyes, dark, thick, curly hair, an amazing figure with a high lush breasts, thin waist and wide hips - it was impossible not to notice it. This "slave of love" was born in 1912 in the family of one of the personal physicians of Pope Pius XI Francesco Saverio Petacci. In the house dominated the cult of Mussolini, and, according to many accounts, Clara adored the duce since childhood. She wrote him letters with confessions of love, but they settled in the secretariat, since there were thousands of such messages. In Italy, during the reign of Mussolini, the attitude of women towards him resembled a mass psychosis or hysteria: he was loved and wanted by women of all ages. He knew how to please not only women, everyone was delighted with his speeches delivered from the balcony, for the love of which the Italians called Mussolini Juliet.
Love, converted into a real feeling
Clara Petachchi in real life for the first time met her idol on an automobile walk in 1932. She was 20 years old, Mussolini - 50. A loving duce, about the sexual abilities of which there were legends, could not help but pay attention to the amazing beauty. And then with the dictator amazing things begin to happen, with which he, in general, was not familiar - their platonic relations lasted four years. Correspondence with confessions of love was uninterrupted.
Whole nature
In general, the epistolary legacy left by Clara Petachchi is 15 volumes. And all the letters are dedicated to the only elected one, by the time of the meeting she was the official bride of aristocrat Riccardo Federici, a military pilot.
The legendary love of Mussolini
Mussolini and Clara Petacci met every day in the Palazzo Venezia. She had her own key. There is evidence that Clara did not shine with the mind, but she lacked the wisdom to never arrange her favorite jealousy scenes, because he was still being sent to a secret meeting room for women. And Clara suppressed in herself the torments of jealousy, from which she even lost consciousness. For Mussolini, a brief meeting with the numerous thirsty proximity to him with representatives of the weaker sex were necessary, like air. For them, he interrupted even important government meetings. According to some testimonies the duce drew its vital energy in these connections.
Blind love
But he loved it in the highest sense of the word (provided that higher concepts are applicable to Mussolini) only Clara. He gave her gifts, one of which was the villa "Camilucha".
Meeting with the wife of a loved one
In the same year 1941, she was visited by the legitimate wife of the Duce Raquel Mussolini, who from the dictator had five children - three sons and two daughters. It is interesting that Mussolini's middle son became the father of Italian cinema, the patron of all the great neo-realists and the owner of the magazine "Chinema". Raquel cursed Clara at the meeting, predicting her the future of a cheap prostitute in the famous Piazza Loreto. But the reality turned out to be worse.
Arrest and return to politics
Benito Mussolini, in moments when he was in danger, always asked Clara to leave him and leave the country, this was pleaded by her and relatives, but she never betrayed her beloved. After the arrest of Mussolini in 1943, right at the exit from the palace of Victor-Emmanuel, who could not help the disgraced duce, the dictator was imprisoned in the Hotel Albergo-Rifugio, located in the Apennines. Otto Skarzeny kidnapped him and took him to Germany in a suitcase.
Death united them
Clara Petacci, whose biography is now inextricably linked with Mussolini, lives with him in Lombardy, on Lake Garda in Gargnano. She continues to love with all her heart the patient, the unnecessary Mussolini, who is now only a miserable puppet in Hitler's hands. Clarita, as Mussolini affectionately called her, has many nicknames, she is called the last, and platonic, and only love duce. The tragic and even heroic death of this woman, even if Mussolini did not like her, and he loved her very much, raises Clarita above the level of a simple mistress.
Captivity
When the Ude's war was nearing its end and the Americans had already landed in Italy, the mother again begged Clara to leave the country, to which her daughter replied that she could not live without Benito. On April 27, 1945, the SS detachment tried to take Mussolini to Austria. Clara, saying goodbye to her relatives, sets off from Mussolini. But almost at the border, Italian guerrillas surround the detachment and, having learned the duce, demand its extradition in exchange for saving the lives of the SS men themselves. The exchange took place, although the Germans were sent by Hitler himself precisely for Mussolini.
The night before death
The partisan commander repulsed the duce from the furious crowd and placed him in a temporary prison, where Clara was immediately asked.
Samossud
The commander of the partisans Bellini, being a career officer, was going to exactly follow the law and transfer Mussolini to the hands of the authorities of the new Italy, and America demanded the extradition of Mussolini. But Colonel Valerio intervened in the events, which he repulsed Mussolini from the guerrillas and took them along with Clara towards Villa Belmonte, at the gates of which a tragedy took place. Clara was always pushed aside, and she closed herself a loved one. We killed them three times before - there were misfires before.
Cruelty of the crowd
Over the dead, especially over Mussolini, cruelly bullied, resulting in the body duce turned into a mess. The colonel reveled in what he had done, but this seemed insufficient to him. The bloodied bodies were taken to Milan, and here on the Loreto Square they were hung up on meat hooks with their heads down. Clara Petachchi, whose execution, from which side she looked, ennobled the demise of the bloody dictator, shared his fate with him until the last minute. Very few people on this earth can boast of such love, loyalty and devotion to women. And whatever one may say, the devilish communist terrorist Valerio in this story looks disgusting.
Relatives
The family of Clara Petachchi after her death was persecuted. However, after the arrest in 1943 and the release of the Germans from Northern Italy, where many of Clara's relatives were in custody, some of them managed to leave the country. The chief corruptor, Marcello's brother, was captured and killed in 1945 when he attempted to cross the Swiss border, he found huge sums of money and jewels.
