Therefore, this name is not suitable for a piece of furniture, which contains household appliances or other things.

Chiffonier - furniture in which there are boxes for laundry, bars with hangers, shelves. Such products may also include sections for storing ties and accessories, and mobile baskets or compartments in which handkerchiefs can be kept, etc. Some models are also equipped with special places where you can put shoes on. Of course, today it is not so often possible to hear such a word, but earlier it enjoyed quite a lot of popularity. Often, now items of furniture, in which clothes, shoes and accessories are stored, is simply called a "closet". And you can not say that it is wrong to do so.
