Characters "Marvel": the most famous and most desired

The cinematographic universe of Marvel has long occupied a leading place in the production of films based on comics about superheroes or ordinary people acquiring super abilities. All of them are called to protect and defend the earth, fighting evil in any of its manifestations. Often antipodes become the same characters, endowed with a similar force, which makes the confrontation more spectacular. For a relatively short period of time the audience managed to get acquainted with many heroes. However, the universe of Marvel is so rich that it is difficult to remember everyone.

What is Marvel?

Many have heard, but not everyone understands what this name bears under itself. First of all, it's an American corporation publishing comics. All the characters of "Marvel" act alone or combined in series; Most of them live in a fictional universe called Earth-616.

The main competitor of "Marvel" is the company DC Comics. It is much smaller in all respects - so, its main characters are Batman and Superman. According to unofficial estimates, due to the ferocious popularity of "Marvel", its cost as a large corporation is over 4 billion dollars. In 2009, The Walt Disney Company acquired it in the property.

First prototypes

Any story has its beginning. The exception was not the comic book universe Marvel. At the time of its formation, in the early 40s of the last century, it was difficult to call it the "Universe". The list of "Marvel" characters included Human-Torch and anti-hero of Namor the Underwater. In 1941 Captain America was born, who became the sales leader in the same year.

On this "big three" should not be stopped. The first author, the founder Martin Goodman resorts to the help of young Stan Lee. With their help, there are other characters Marvel: Destroyer, Yula, Miss America. Postwar years are not too complimentary to comic heroes, the sales level is lowered to the zero mark.

The second wave

Only in the early 60's the corporation will come up with all the familiar Fantastic Four. Her heroes did not wear suits, led an ordinary life, often quarreled with each other, and more were identified with ordinary people. The wave of recognition captured the studio completely. Encouraged by the right direction, "Marvel" creates a whole series of superheroes and their anti-heroes, enabling them to be brought together more often.

So there are the most famous characters of Marvel: Spider-Man, Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, Ant-Man, X -Men, Daredevil, Magnetto, Venom, Green Goblin, Doctor Doom, Doctor Octopus. Perhaps, of all the most successful is the Spider-Man. This also affects the modern screen embodiment - Spider-Man is one of the first to acquire an independent film, released in 2002 with Toby Maguire in the title role. In a later period, the Guardians, the Dark Knight, the Unholy and the Black Panther were born.

Characteristic characters "Marvel"

Empowering superheroes became a part of their creation. Almost every one of them had his own story behind him, which was not immediately noticed. Many, such as the young hero Spider-Man, were too contradictory and often questioned, and were also subjected to typical teenage problems. The rest suffered more from inner feelings and loneliness, and being less beautiful compared to their predecessors, looked like monsters and villains. It was this distinctive feature that played an important role in the world of the further development of the comic book industry.

Female characters "Marvel" and their screen incarnation

Superheroes have many representatives of beauty, but not inferior to the strength of sex. All of them became bright prototypes, and appeared on the pages of comics at different times. Among them are the following: Storm, Electra, Sparkle, Hulk Woman, Gamora, Scarlet Witch, Butterfly, Clea, Red Sonja, Wasp, Medusa, Lady Death Strike. Of course, this is not a complete list.

The most famous female heroine is the Black Widow. She has an excellent physical form and skills in many areas: sambo, martial arts, ballet, espionage, firearms and cold steel. This character is most often found in outgoing fantasy films, including a series about "Iron Man" and "Avengers". On the screen, she invariably embodies Scarlett Johansson.

The second, but relatively new female character was the Wonder Woman. Interest in it has increased in connection with the release of the film "Batman vs. Superman: At the dawn of justice," in which she appears for the first time. At the moment, four films with this heroine are planned. In 2013-2014, Israeli actress Gal Gadot signed the relevant contracts.
