In its root layer of soil, virgin soil contains a large amount of nitrogen, humus and other nutrients for plants. These parts of the earth are very compact and elastic. In arid places they are the most dry, in the rainy - they are moistened to the maximum. Through virgin soil it is difficult to break through the weeds of weeds, here the activity of multiplication of microorganisms is reduced.

Celina: the meaning of the word in the dictionary

Celina is a generalized name for the underdeveloped, but fertile land areas. This is primarily due to the lack of population in a particular zone.

Such areas are observed in Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Siberia, the Urals, the Volga region and the Far East. The term "virgin land" acquired a mass distribution in the 50s of last century. At that time, the USSR was widely used for virgin lands. The cultivated land was then 43 million hectares. Today, 16.3 million square meters belong to Russia. Programs on the development of sparsely populated areas for the processing of valuable land are still in effect, but not as actively as in the days of Soviet capitalism. For the development of virgin lands, considerable expenses are required for equipment, labor and other activities.

So, virgin soil is a soil, a land plot with densely growing plants on it. This area has not been cultivated for centuries or has never been plowed by man. Due to the constantly densely growing vegetation, such a soil is very much appreciated after processing and using it under agricultural lands.
