Preparation for work and technology

Carpet technique of embroidery is made by pieces of yarn in length of 5-7 centimeters. Before you begin to work, you need to prepare the threads of all the necessary shades. Wrap the yarn in dense rows on a bar or ruler 3 cm wide, and then cut from one side.

Distinguish the canvas into squares of 10 by 10 squares. Just like on the scheme for embroidery. This can be done as a marker or a thread of contrasting color. Cutting out the canvas, leave 5-7 centimeters for the hem of the edges. It is more convenient to start work from the upper left corner.

1. Take the thread of the desired color, fold it in half. The resulting loop to attach to the hook.

2. Insert the hook head under one thread of the canvas.
