The first recipe for the cream: butter is beaten in a mixer, then add the condensed milk gradually, in small portions, whilst continuing to beat until a uniform consistency of the cream is obtained.

The second recipe: the butter is beaten very well, then the sifted sugar powder is added to it in a tablespoon and, whilst continuing to whip, bring the mass to a homogeneous plastic consistency. As a basis for a cake, you can prepare an oil cream on milk and eggs. For this, milk dairy syrup is prepared from sugar, milk and eggs as follows. Milk with sugar is heated until the sugar dissolves, eggs are beaten in a separate container and slowly poured into the milk-sugar mixture during the whipping. Then the cooled egg-milk base is added to the butter, pre-whipped in a mixer. At the end of the process of preparing the cream according to one of the above recipes, cocoa is placed in it. Sponge cake mixed with chocolate cream is left for one or two hours so that it soaks well, then cake is formed from the sponge cake and removed to the refrigerator for cooling.

Cake "potatoes" of cookies are prepared using the same technology, but instead of biscuit crumbs, crusty cookies are put in it . Cake "potatoes" made from biscuits or breadcrumbs are the easiest and quickest way to make this delicacy. Very often, instead of butter cream, crumbs of biscuits or ground biscuits are mixed with condensed milk, into which liquid chocolate or cocoa powder is added. Cake with condensed milk is the simplest way to make it, but it's still very tasty.

By the way, the shape of cakes can be not only in the form of potatoes. From the prepared from the cream and crumbs the mass is formed by spruce cones, bunnies, hedgehogs, etc. To obtain, for example, a spruce cone, a "sausage" with a pointed tip is rolled out of the dough, and then, it is cut over the entire surface with the tips of scissors, making spruce scales.

The final stage of making the "potato" cake is the glaze of its surface with chocolate glaze, or the cake is simply dumped in cocoa powder. For the glaze on the stove, heat the chocolate bar and add a little butter to the hot chocolate. In the glaze dipping cake, stumbled on a wooden stick, then spread on a cutting board, allow to cool and decorate the cream, squeezing into the grooves made with a fork, small "eyes".

When preparing a "potato" cake from a cookie or biscuit crumb with an oil-based cream or with condensed milk, it is necessary to give the mixture necessarily to stand so that it is well soaked, then the mass will turn out to be homogeneous and tender. Only after the "dough" is well soaked, cakes are made from it and put them in the refrigerator. If the delicacy is prepared for adults, it is good to add a little cognac or rum to the mixture.
