Bulgarian "Interskol": tool for the master

As a rule, home craftsmen often need a quality and sound tool for working with metal, stone and tiles. In simpler terms, we are talking about the so-called "Bulgarians", whose assortment in the modern construction market is extremely wide. Well known is the company "Interskol", the products of which we will talk today.

Why is Bulgarian Interskol most often purchased? As a rule, you can not do without it when erecting a fence of galvanized metal, cutting the profile and reinforcement, as well as performing work with the stone and paving slab. To do this, you will need a tool with a circle diameter of 180 mm, a power of not less than 1.8 kW. With such a Bulgarian you can cope with almost all types of work.

In the article, we will consider, as an example, the Bulgarian "Interskol" USMM-180. It is quite universal, it is possible to work in the position of "from yourself" and "to yourself." In addition, thanks to the convenient and ergonomic shape of the tool, it is easy to operate in a completely horizontal position, which requires the same grinding. Moreover, with all positions, you will not have difficulty with access to the control organs of the instrument. The working handle has three positions, in which it is fixed by means of a special switch.

Note that the Bulgarian "Interskol" USMM-180 supports the fastening of the power button in the working position. Of course, the security of such a solution is rather doubtful, but this option is indispensable when performing many operations. However, the switch is fixed in this position with a special hook, which can be thrown away with the help of an effortless effort of even one finger.

Like the Bulgarian "Interskol 125", this model has the option of locking the spindle for fast and safe replacement of circles. The manufacturer also draws attention to the fact that the reducer housing in this case is made of high-strength magnesium alloy. This allowed not only to reduce the weight of the instrument, but also to increase its strength.

On the power you need to say a few words separately. In particular, the grinding of the surface is simply perfect, but when cutting you should avoid situations in which it is possible to pinch the circle, since in this case the tool begins to literally break out of the hands. In addition, it is so extremely easy to spoil or simply break the cutting circle.

In short, any Bulgarian "Interskol" requires a qualitative fixing of the workpiece for its processing. This model is positioned as a tool for especially heavy work, so simple cutting of the same profile with its help is rather difficult. Please note that a cutting disc with a thickness of at least 3 mm is required to work with it. If you need a precise and accurate cut, then it is better to look for the tool easier.

Thus, it is worth noting the merits and demerits of the Bulgarians we examined:

  • The merits include the large diameter of the cutting disc, high power and ease of adjustment for various construction tasks.
  • From the shortcomings, let us single out that this tool is rather heavy, and for the handling of oneself requires a good physical shape and reliable fastening of the workpiece.

In any case, these Bulgarians "Interskol" (the prices for which rarely exceed 2.5 thousand rubles) are distinguished by high quality of performance and reliability.
