Bloody discharge indicates the presence of blood in the vagina. As a rule, such manifestations are noted two or four days before the onset of menstruation. Often, discharge indicates a violation of the menstrual cycle. The symptom is also characteristic of hyperplasia and polyps of the endometrium. At the same time there are spotting between menstruation. The course of menstruation is very painful. In the secretions, clots of blood are often detected.

A sudden manifestation of a symptom can be triggered by an unexpected miscarriage in the early stages of pregnancy. In this case, the woman must be rushed to the doctor immediately. With the development of ectopic pregnancy, excretions with an admixture of blood differ in duration and abundance.
