Beaver spray: preparation and use

Beaver jet is known for its medicinal qualities since ancient times. She treated a lot of different ailments among the people - from impotence to heart diseases. And in modern medicine, as a restorative and wound-healing remedy, the same beaver jet continues to be in great demand. Its preparation in the form of special preparations is carried out for further use in the treatment of neural diseases and vascular diseases, disorders of the reproductive system, pyelonephritis, renal failure. She removes stones from the kidneys, has a beneficial effect on the central nervous system, relieves headaches. Applying a beaver jet along with SPA procedures, a positive result is achieved in the fight against osteochondrosis, radiculitis and other joint diseases.

It is a mistake to believe that a beaver spout is urine. In fact, it is a castoreum, an aromatic substance such as musk, which is produced by special glands of internal secretion. Such glands are not only in beavers, but also, for example, in musk deer. The musk contained in the glands is widely used in perfumery for making high-quality perfumes. However, the beaver jet, thanks to its medicinal properties, has found its application, first of all, in medicine.

How is a beaver jet used for medical purposes? The preparation of a beaver jet is a very important stage, because the preservation of valuable medicinal qualities directly depends on it. There are glands of internal secretion on the abdomen of the beaver, near the genitals. The jaws in the beaver are called because of the elongated shape. When cutting the carcass, these glands can be found next to the genitourinary preputial duct in males and on the eve of the vagina in females. In adults, a pair of glands weighs 150-200 g and has a length of approximately 80 mm.

The preparation of the beaver jet begins with the extraction of glands from the body of the animal. The glands are carefully removed, and the ducts need to be bandaged. Storage of medications can be done by further canning, freezing or drying. In medicine, a beaver jet is used in the form of tincture, powder and rectal suppositories.

Preserve beaver jet can be suspended in a dark and cool room with good air circulation. Then it should be stored in the refrigerator. It is quite simple to make a dry beaver jet. Preparing it does not require any cost. After drying, a powder can be made from the jet. To do this, the dried spray is rubbed on a grater and pounded in a mortar. Take the powder in a very small amount - from the match head 1 time per day.

To create tinctures, a fresh beaver jet is taken. Preparation of tinctures must begin with the fact that cut the musk into pieces and pass it through the meat grinder. Then the mass should be filled with quality vodka (not moonshine!) In the ratio of 100 g of musk to half a liter of vodka. The bottle is tightly clogged and put for a week in a dark and cool place. Shake the tincture daily. If it turns dark brown, you need to dilute it with vodka until you get a shade of cognac. After this, the tincture can be used inside for prevention of 1 tsp. A day during meals, and for treatment - 2 tsp, with the frequency: 10 days of intake, 10 days - a break. This tincture can be applied externally, in the form of rubbing and compresses, with thrombophlebitis, radiculitis, varicose veins, rheumatism.

Not only orally, But also the rectum of the beaver. Candle preparation is a rather laborious process. If the beaver jet is fresh, it is frozen in the freezer, if dried, it is ground on a grater and in a mortar. Next, melted fresh and unsalted pig fat, add a small amount (match head substance on 1 rectal candle) of the beaver jet. Mix the mixture well, cool, cut into pieces and form candles, which are then stored in a refrigerator. Treatment - 1 candle at night in the rectum.
