Tools and materials

For work we will need:

  • Colored or plain wipes;
  • Well sharpened scissors;
  • copper wire;
  • Nippers or pliers;
  • Brush;
  • Fishing line to hang the figure;
  • Thread under the color of a napkin or a thin satin ribbon;
  • Adhesive for wallpaper;
  • Decorative elements for decoration.

Ballerinas from napkins: master-class

At the first stage, we will manufacture the skeleton for the ballerina.

We make the workpiece:

  • We cut the wire. You can determine the required amount by taking a napkin folded into 4 pieces and winding the thread from the spool 4 cm more than its diagonal. We measure one more such piece, we cut off the wire with pliers and fold it in half.
  • We begin to form the frame, twisting the wire. Sharp edges will need to be hidden. We leave the loop on the end for the ballerina's head and twirl the wire by 2/3 of the length.

  • Then we begin to form the feet, bending the free ends of the wire into small loops. To make the figure graceful, it is better to make the legs longer. The size of the lower part of the trunk can be changed at its discretion.
  • We begin to form the body. We wind the legs with wire from the reel, stretching it between the fingers.
  • After that, we proceed to the manufacture of hands. They will need another piece of wire, which is attached to the upper body. We make hands in the same way as the legs. At the ends we leave the eyelets for the palms.

Form the body of a ballerina

Now you need to prepare the napkins, dividing them into layers and cutting or tearing into thin strips. Some masters advise to tear the napkins with their hands, so that it would be more convenient to wind them onto the workpiece. Take the stripes and wrap them first the legs, and then - the hands. We fix it with glue, dipping the brush in it and squeezing the details of the trunk. PVA for this purpose is undesirable to use, as it can turn yellow. The thickness of the leg after winding should be approximately 5 mm. Balls of ballerinas from napkins are better to do already, than the rest, and socks, on the contrary, are thicker, that they remind the pointe. In the same way we process the whole frame.

Dress for the ballerina

Let's start to make dresses:

  • Whole wipes unfold and divide into layers. We begin with the petticoat. It can be made from the bottom layer of a napkin. Fold the open piece of paper twice in half to get a square, and then twice more diagonally, as when creating a snowflake.
  • Cut the lower edge of the workpiece, forming the lower part of the skirt in a semicircle.
  • Then you need to cut off the upper tip, about 3 mm, so that the head of the ballerina passes.

  • We put on the sucker, fixing it on the trunk with threads.
  • For the outer part of the dress you will need only the topmost layer. Carefully we separate it, so as not to tear the picture, add it several times and cut off the bottom.
  • After making one hole at the top for the head and two on the sides for the hands, we give the napkin an invoice, twisting it in one direction.

Assembling a figurine

We unfold the dress and put on the ballerina. We tighten it on the waist with a thread in a tone napkin. If you make a skirt in several layers, the figure will be more voluminous. Combining different colors, you can achieve unusual effects. If you cut holes on a napkin, as when creating New Year's snowflakes, you will get an unusual decoration for Christmas. A ballerina made of napkins is ready. Hands and feet will bend in any direction. Instead of a string, any tape will do. With her help, the straps on the upper part of the trunk are formed. In addition, pointe shoes are colorized, and a headpiece is created for the doll. You can simply paste hair from a napkin and a few beads instead of a diadem.

A ready-made toy is used for decorating an interior, hanging on a line or simply setting it on a shelf in an unusual pose. Make a partner for a ballerina of napkins with your own hands, then from the figures you will get more decor options. The body for a man is exactly the same, but the suit consists of trousers and a shirt. The hoses are made volumetric, collecting thin strips of paper on a string. The rest of the body is decorated with colored napkins according to the principle of making the frame.

Ballerina from napkins without a skeleton

There is another way to create a paper ballerina. Instead of a wire for the trunk, a thin cardboard or a paper is used. It takes a stencil for the body: it is looped around the contour and transferred to the cardboard, and then cut out. It remains only to put on the skirt on the figure, fix it with glue - and the ballerina is ready. Just a few minutes - and an unusual interior toy in your hands.
