From the history of Ausheger

In the XVII century, this village was founded by Kabardian noblemen Doguzhokov, who continued the ancient family of Idarovs. They settled at the confluence of the Heu River in Cherek. In November 1942, Ausheiger was occupied by fascist troops. The whole village was liberated in 1943.
