Air marsh - the most ancient remedy on earth

Legend argues that the Tatar warriors in all the marshes, rivers and reservoirs encountered on their way in the twelfth century, planted the marsh terrarium as a strategic raw material. The rhizome of ayr was taken by each warrior with him as an amulet and as a cure for all diseases, including disinfecting water necessary for drinking. Therefore, they were interested in spreading this wonderful plant.

Soldiers of the Russian Tsarist Army were also treated with aira. They, at the command of the commanders, harvested the root in the swamps. He was insisted on vodka. After eating, soldiers were given a portion of such vodka for mouth rinsing with this bitter and burning tincture and ingestion. Thus, not only periodontitis was treated and dental cracks and hollows were tightened, but the whole gastrointestinal tract, cardiovascular system, respiratory organs were maintained in a healthy state.

Air marsh in each locality has its name. In some places it is called ayr ordinary, Tatarian saber, Tartar or Tatar potion, and even angelic, paradise, water grass, king-potion and even a good dozen names. But they all belong to a perennial water plant, reaching a height of up to one and a half meters. It has a creeping root growing in the horizontal plane, which has several accessory roots. How does the marsh look like? The photo shows very well its thick root and the narrow linear leaves collected in bundles. The inflorescence of the aura appears in the middle of summer. They are like cobs, from which mature oblong fruits of red color.

The smell of roots and all other parts of the plant is sharp, and the taste is a very bitter and even burning plant, in the root and leaves of which there are very valuable biochemical compounds or a real natural pharmacy. The roots are harvested either in spring or in the middle of autumn. They are removed from the water with the help of forks, the layer of dirt is rinsed off with cold water, and then cut off the spine roots and stems with leaves, without disturbing the upper layer of the main root. The cleared root is left in the open air for several days. Sprayed roots are cut along large pieces in the size of fifteen to twenty centimeters and dried in autumn in drying chambers at a temperature not exceeding thirty-five degrees, and in the spring in attics. It is inadmissible to dry the marsh in the ovens. All etheric substances and important biochemical elements at high temperature will be lost or destroyed.

Medicinal raw materials are considered ready when pieces of dried root become brittle. It can be stored for three years in cool and ventilated conditions in paper bags or clogged cans.
