A Tale of Ole Lukoie. Summary

One of the most interesting fairy tales for many years was the story of a magician named Ole Lukoie. The summary, unfortunately, can not convey the fullness and beauty of this work. Let's start with Monday, when the wizard first came to Yalmar. In his first dream, the room was transformed into a lush garden filled with delicacies and spices. Flowers became trees, on which grew berries-sweets, buns and donuts. But this whole paradise faded due to the fact that the school supplies of Yalmar began to groan. In this dream, the magician Ole showed the kid that his writing was no good, and the tasks in mathematics needed to be solved.

Enchanted Journey

The next day, on Tuesday, only the child went to bed, Ole Lukoie returned. A brief tale narrates how Hjalmar performed an amazing journey in a dream. First all the items came to life in the boy's room: furniture, souvenirs and books, and even paintings. One of them got our little hero. Thanks to Ole's magic wand, he stepped on the painted green grass and went swimming in a small boat along a quiet forest river. There he met a beautiful princess, who, unfortunately, could not share his love with him.

Three magic dreams

On Wednesday, Yalmar waited impatiently for the evening when Ole Lukoie would return to him. The summary of the new dream lies in a fantastic journey on a flying ship. The boy went to unknown countries and met there with new animals who told him their secrets. On Thursday, Yalmar was honored to attend the mouse wedding in one of the most beautiful cellars of his house. And on Friday, he also got to the ceremony of betrothal, but now - in the enchanted house of his own toys.

The wisest stories

On Saturday, the magician Ole could not tell Yalmar a new story, so his dream took him to one of the Chinese families. There the kid got acquainted with the traditions of this people. Well, on Sunday Ole Lukoye entertained the boy with a fairy tale about five peas in one pod, which, of course, every one of us knows.
