early years

Egor was born in 1991 in Magnitogorsk. In my childhood I began to practice hockey. Initially, it was a common passion, but over time it grew into a lifetime affair. Although the nineties were rather difficult, the parents of the young talent did everything that he could concentrate on his favorite occupation.

As a child he trained in the local "Metallurg" system. The first coach of the future defender of the Russian national team was Evgeny Razumniak. It was he who noticed that the guy has a talent. I paid a lot of attention to the young athlete, because I realized that at this age he had to find it difficult. This is how Yegor Yakovlev started his career. The hockey player showed great hopes already at an early age, and today he partially managed to justify them.

In 2008, Yegor graduated from the sports school. Promising young man notices HC "Ak Bars". Initially, he stands for the second team, which shows good results. In the debut season he takes part in forty-nine games of the first league and writes down to his account eleven effective actions.

Adult career

In 2009, he plays for Ak Bars in the youth hockey league. For the first year he manages to play fifty-four matches, score four goals and make nineteen assists. Despite the excellent statistics, the management felt that Yegor Yakovlev was not ready for the first team yet. The hockey player continued to play in the youth championship, but very soon joined the "Ak Bars" foundation.

The championship 2010/2011 becomes the first for a young man as a professional. Despite the fact that he took part in only one game, that year he will remember forever.

Very soon, after the debut in the Continental League, goes to the "Neftyanik", who played in the second most powerful division.

The season 2011/2012 will become in some way unique for the athlete. He will have time to play immediately for four teams, including "Loco", "Bars" and "Neftyanik".

In 2012, the future player of HC SKA becomes a full-fledged hockey player of Lokomotiv. The first period plays a basis and is regularly involved in the youth championship. Since 2013, he has acted as the main defender of the railroad workers. Over the two seasons, he will take part in more than a hundred fights and will bring in more than twenty effective actions.

Performances in the Russian national team

For the first time Yegor was summoned to the banner of the national team in 2014. Immediately went to the world championship, where he returned home with a gold award. At the tournament, he became one of the best, this hockey player. The defender completely blocked the central zone, which was noted even by rivals of the Russian team.
