Work for a retired, or How to find application of your knowledge and experience

With the departure to a well-deserved rest, life does not end. It often happens that people are "pushed out" to retire, despite the fact that he is still full of strength and desire to work. And often the size of the payments is so small that it is impossible to live on them. Therefore, work for a pensioner is not only additional funds to the family budget. This is also a pledge of mental well-being. After all, every person wants to feel needed and in demand. It often happens that the children have already grown up, and they have not yet given their grandchildren. There is no caring about the house, life is adjusted. In this case, work for the retired is the only opportunity to realize the remaining potential and share the accumulated experience.

For example, women with a pedagogical, musical, psychological, medical background will easily find use of their experience as a nanny, a nurse, a housekeeper. After all, young parents are often too busy, there are no grandmothers and grandfathers in the city, and there is no one to take care of the child either. Take and meet a child from school or kindergarten, go with him to the doctor, play, read and help with the lessons - that's what the responsibilities of a nanny can be. By the way, such work is paid for the pensioner pretty well, especially in comparison with earnings in the budgetary sphere.

Elderly people are often difficult to keep up with the rapid changes in technology, in legislation, in the information space. But many have their years of diligence and patience. Therefore, often work for retired people at home is offered in activities that require diligence and thoroughness. Sewing curtains or making semi-finished products, assembling various goods, packaging, ordering documents - these are just a small part of the classes that can bring additional earnings. Many elderly people not only have not lost their skills and knowledge, but they also have great practical experience. Therefore, for example, writing articles for various professional specialized publications, developing assignments for lessons, helping with the selection of material - this is the ideal job for a pensioner. Of course, you need to own a computer at the level of the basic user, but now it is not uncommon.

For a part of the elderly, social status is extremely important. That is why if they are outside the labor market, they lose the necessary communication and recognition. There is a way out here too. Participation in the activities of public organizations, educational institutions (from regular watch in schools to conducting circles and master classes) - such work in Moscow for pensioners is not uncommon, as, however, in other cities. It is more difficult for them to find use in rural areas, in villages. However, as a rule, all the free time is occupied by the household plot and the house. By the way, it can be and one more kind of employment. Not only in the cottage settlements, but also abroad, you can find proposals for work "caretaker" or economist, most often with accommodation for a couple. So the opportunity to find a job for yourself is at any age, it is enough to seek and act.
