Who are the characteristic Cossacks?

Until now, around these people there is a halo of mystery, mysticism and magic. Cossacks-characterists excite our imagination with their amazing abilities and skills. Who were they really? What were their incredible opportunities based on?

A character is someone who has a strong will and character. They were talked about in Ukraine: "A Cossack can draw a finger around himself." In their battle against "nehristi" they used secret knowledge, which enabled them to become practically invincible.

Experienced soldiers selected among the babies the most gifted boys, who then for many years passed on their knowledge. The boy, who is in training with the Cossack, was called "Decura"; A servant. And to learn was what. Cossack-character, according to legend, could call out a thunderstorm, disperse clouds, pass through the water and not burn in flames. Warriors-mages possessed the ability to "take their eyes off", send a dragon and for a moment move from one place to another.

It was even believed that they possessed the talents of werewolves, turning into wolves (in Ukrainian "sirko" or "hort"). It is this skill attributed to one of the most famous Cossacks, the ataman Ivan Sirk, who, after spending 50 military campaigns, had no defeat.

Having met with the obviously superior forces of the enemy, the Cossacks managed to disappear in the middle of the flat like a plate of the steppe. They quickly stuck peaks around themselves and mystically made the Janissaries think that they were trees in front of them. Frozen enemies passed by. One of them wrote that the Cossacks-characters are "just shaytans" who cannon the cannonballs catch their hollow caftan , suddenly disappear, and then arise behind their backs.

But the worst thing is that some of these "Shaytans" were able to make the Janissaries see their enemies in each other. And they simply decided to kill their own. True, such magicians were afraid of the characters themselves. Named abilities, it was believed, and the famous Ivan Bohun owned .

What is the only information worth saying that these amazing warriors went to the reconnaissance, without camouflage, on horseback! And no one saw them, did not notice them.

Bogdan Khmelnitsky had at his disposal a detachment, which included the Cossack characters. They, stripped to the waist, with sabers in each hand, cut through whole "glades" in enemy hordes, while remaining unharmed. Many Cossack characters were excellent healers. They had knowledge in special, military medicine. Knowing a lot of conspiracies and slander, they could heal, as they say, at the "cellular level". Even the famous Cossack cradles (tubes) were packed first with curative herbs.

And although the incredible skills of the Cossacks originate in the Vedic culture, and they themselves were the direct descendants of the ancient magicians and guardian soldiers of pagan temples, they were God-fearing and sincerely believing people. Many Cossack characters at the end of life went to the monastery, begging for sins associated with witchcraft. True, only a few monasteries, built for money by Sich, took them to themselves as novices.
