Where does the constant sense of anxiety come from and how to deal with it?
If, unexpectedly and without apparent cause, a slight shadow of a sensation emerges, that something bad is about to happen, terrible news or something like that will happen, then we can joke or declare a sixth sense. If we are talking about infrequent cases, when there are objective reasons for the appearance of such fears, they do not cause a special panic, but a constant sense of anxiety can exhaust a person. Moreover, this sensation entails a whole chain of unpleasant and even dangerous problems, beginning with the disturbance of the sleep and wakefulness regime, ending with the depressed state of the nervous system and mental disorders. Often the following symptoms of anxiety are observed: nerve quivering of the fingers, pulling through small objects, depressed or too violent breathing, panic attack.
There are also attempts to replace the psychological strain with physical activity - many are aware of cases when a lot of small domestic affairs were altered on the nerves. Also, the symptoms include an obsession, a painful attachment to the means of communication. For example, parents experiencing a constant sense of anxiety, can not let go of mobile phones, monitor the condition of their child's mobile phone - the obligation to fully charge the battery and a positive balance. If the child at some point in time did not answer the phone call, regardless of the age of the offspring, the obsessive alarm draws the most terrible pictures instead of the most obvious ones. Not an underground passage or other communication problems, but an accident, a catastrophe, a criminal offense.
Where does the state of anxiety come from? In most cases, some negative experience is associated with the lack of control over the situation. If the accent of negativity passed precisely on the absence of control, and further cultivation of guilt begins: "I could not do anything", then the subconscious will react to any prerequisites, as a sign of alarm. Literally, if the negative experience has been associated with dogs, there is a constant sense of anxiety not only at the sight of dogs, but also in a similar situation on the street, for example, there will be an alarming fear of podvoroten or narrow streets if the dogs attack occurred precisely in such a locality.
In most cases, common sense still makes it clear that there is no basis for this irrational fear, and a person begins to fight, to suppress a constant sense of anxiety with the help of willpower. At once it would be desirable to advise, such fighters for independence of mind risk to drive themselves into the trap of the subconscious. The stronger the resistance of the mind, the stronger the tension, and the tension of the nervous system gives rise to the most disturbing feeling against which they try to fight by force of will. That is, we generously give ourselves another reason to worry, there is concern about the correct interpretation of one's own state and mood.
It is important to understand that a constant sense of anxiety can be a symptom of a neurosis, this requires medical treatment after a mandatory comprehensive examination. Willpower will not help if this tiring anxiety is a consequence of a hormonal disorder or the activity of the central nervous system. The reasons can be many, however, if you have obsessive unsettling thoughts that do not have an objective basis, you do not need to consider yourself guilty or hang labels on yourself. Sometimes it is enough to put in order the regime of the day, adjust the diet and start restorative procedures to significantly reduce the feeling of anxiety. The final list of measures, in any case, remains with the doctor. Before resorting to the services of psychotherapists, it is necessary to exclude the medical reasons for the occurrence of anxiety.
