The slow phase of it is characterized by a number of indicators: the body produces growth hormone, regenerates the skin and tissues of internal organs, decreases the pulse and temperature, relaxes the muscles, and decreases the metabolic rate . This effect of sleep on the body leads to gradual relaxation. This phase lasts about an hour and a half, then comes the phase of fast sleep, in which the body processes are completely opposite to the previous phase. This phase lasts only fifteen minutes, but at the same time the person observes the greatest number of dreams, as in the body there is an analysis of everything that happened to a person during the day.

From these two phases, the quality of a person's sleep basically depends. Everyone knows that rest in a dream is extremely important for the human body. In ancient times, there was even a penalty in China, when a person was simply brought to death, preventing him from falling asleep. In the documents about this, one can find data that during such an execution a person could not live more than ten days. People have long been interested in the question of what a dream is and what its normal duration should be. Usually we sleep seven to eight hours a day and think that this is quite enough. But here some scientists believe that by this time it is necessary to add a couple more hours. The duration of daily sleep decreased in humans after the invention of an electric bulb. But it is this superfluous time that affects such abilities of the organism as accuracy of movements, attention and speed of reaction.

The most important rule in the struggle for a good night's rest and well-being is always to go to bed at the same time. And this is much more serious than just lack of energy and nervousness. Therefore, remember that such a dream is a very important occupation, which should be dealt with wisely.
