What are the halls? The answer will be prompted by ancestors

The great legacy left by our ancestors has not been fully studied. Gradually the passion for ascertaining the origin of this or that religious symbol or concept is dying out. In parallel with this, part of the culture is lost. In order not to lose to the end what our great-grandfathers laboriously collected with such love, it is often necessary to turn to the sources of their traditions and customs. It is in the old manuscripts that you can find answers to questions about what the palaces are, who Svarog is and where the "swastika" sign came from. These and many other questions are answered in some detail by the distinctive culture of the Slavs. In this article, we will consider what the Halls are and what is the original meaning of this concept.

The concept of the Welder circle among the ancient Slavs

Many centuries ago there were no calendars, television and watches. However, this did not in any way prevent people from accurately guessing the time of day, month and season. Most of the information was learned by ancestors from the starry sky. It is with the help of him that you can find the answer to the question, what are the halls. In the starry sky there is a site in which for one Summer (the obsolete meaning of the word year) the sun moves - Yarilo (ecliptic, or modern zodiac sign). This area is called the Warthog Circle. In the modern view, this is the orbit of the Earth.

Connection with the zodiacal constellations

The concept of "welding circle" is directly related to astrology. If in modern science the Earth revolves around the Sun, in turn replacing the twelve signs of the Zodiac, then in the ancient Slavic culture of such signs there were sixteen. Each of them was in a certain area of the Svarogozhye circle, which, in turn, was called the Chertom. Hence the well-known concept. Gradually, the halls were replaced by zodiacal constellations, and their number decreased by four units.

God-protector by date of birth: Ancient Slavic astrology

As already mentioned above, the whole Chertov was sixteen. All of them had their own names and patrons. Depending on the date, one area of the Swarovski Circle was replaced by another. The following table shows the Halls by the date of birth and their divine patrons. Using this information, you can get information about hidden talents, about addictions and weaknesses that a person did not even suspect.

Based on this table, you can understand how to find out your Hall, depending on the month and date of birth. In this case, there is a characteristic of each of the areas of the Welow circle.

It is interesting that in the ancient Slavs the months of the year also had other names, different frequency and different number of days. If to compare, it turns out that modern December and part of January is an analogue of the once-in-use Bailets ()). It was thirty-seven days for Gaileth, which seized February and March. In some other months - from twenty-nine to thirty-five days. In the year there were only three pores: Ousen, Winter and Spring. Each of them contained three months.

Characteristic of one of the parts of the sacred Old Slavic circle

Consider what the Bear's Hall means. The people destined to be born between the seventh and the thirty-first of January are protected by one of the most powerful Slavic gods, Svarog. By nature, they are very kind and peaceful. However, this does not prevent them from having some impulsiveness in matters of the senses. Sometimes their hidden explosive potential is revealed in words and deeds. Sometimes it is impossible to guess what to expect from a person born in the Hall of the Bear. Becoming the head of the family, he will do everything possible to make his family prosper and happy. "Bears" have the gift of finding a way out of various, sometimes very serious and difficult situations. The ancient Slavs believed that the sacred plant of man, born in this period, is raspberry.

Other concepts of the term in question

However, there are other concepts that reveal to us what the halls are. There is a mundane and ecclesiastical interpretation of the term in question. Even in the tsarist times, rooms and halls, which were removed with splendor and wealth, it was customary to call the halls. Then the meaning of this word began to apply to all the chambers of a merchant or noble house. If you turn to the church manuscripts, you can find out that the devil was considered a special elevation in the Moscow Assumption Cathedral. It was there that many of the royal couples were married. There is one more word combination with which the word "halls" is used - the halls of reason. This is an abstract concept, most often used in the literature, characterizing a certain part of our subconscious, where important and valuable information is stored.
