So, prepare the hacksaw blade, hammer and pliers. Then cut off the network cable, which is also called a twisted pair, to the length you need. Stock up the RJ-45 connectors. I advise you to buy more than necessary, because there is no guarantee that you will be able to compress the connector from the first time, and they are disposable. Once you have everything ready, we are determined with the option of crimping. It can be direct, or can be crossed. The first option is used when you need to connect the device with a hub or switch. The second option is to connect one computer to another directly.

Take the network cable and remove one end of one centimeter of insulation from one end. After that, you will see eight veins. Their winding is not necessary to remove. Depending on the crimp option, arrange them in the required sequence, then trim and trim. Now in this position, insert the network cable into the connector.

If everything is OK, crimp the connector from the opposite side of the cable in the same way. When finished, check the tester and the other side.
